No I don't. Just like I don't think we should fabricate stories about old veterans arriving in France and declaring: "I didn't need a passport in 45!" I think it hurts the cause and attracts the zealots.
I've been as outspoken about bad cops as anyone on here, eg. the Vancouver airport incident and the Geoff Mantler incident in Kelowna and they are both being dealt with in the courts...........I doubt if any one of those cops will serve again. We can't however let the bad stuff cops do overshadow the good stuff that is more often the case. I am sorry however to see the number of negative incidents that we seem to be hearing about almost daily. In the ones I cited the cops were pretty well 100% at fault, in my view. I suspect that there are negative incidents where the cops were less than 100% at fault. I know they get sworn at and spat on and in some cases I'm sure they just reach their "breaking point"- not that it is an excuse, but humans by nature are less than perfect.
