We are now in the Halifax area and loving it.
I wouldn't know, I've been off for so long. I won't be changing that for now, I'm up to my earballs in paper and boxes right now, and already appliances need TLC. Let's hope the well pump and septic system I acquired are in better shape.
I'm baaaack!! I could almost see your house today, I was in Castlegar for the first time since sometime in '95. I've been off he forum for a long time since they axed my job in Halifax, I've been commuting in between and living with my youngest daughter in Alberta for over a year but we finally gave away our house and sold our souls to buy another in AB. We might be camping in Nakusp again, who knows

Thanks Cliffy. I will look that up. I was under the impression that N. American aboriginal people were able to freely cross the border without restriction...unless, of course, it is a heinous criminal. We are all living on the American continent. Did this freedom exist earlier and was abolished?

I found this piece when I googled the Sinixt people. Were they aware they were extinct? A good way for the government to do as they pleased after such an official declaration. -
