Typical Liberal Democrat hate and violence this is. Imagine if this was a Tea Party event. Democrats like these thugs can mob and beat whenever they want and get away with it.
Where do you get that these are liberal democrats? Me thinks you ultra partisanship is blinding you.Typical Liberal Democrat hate and violence this is. Imagine if this was a Tea Party event. Democrats like these thugs can mob and beat whenever they want and get away with it.
I doubt couriers that were Teamsters or Rail had any issues. That's what Brotherhood and Freedom of Assembly is all about and what it takes to protect Rights of the works. All workers. God bless em'. Utility and and trade Union workers can fill those alleys easily and with permits too.
Thank you for bringing the OP back into the argumentTypical Liberal Democrat hate and violence this is. Imagine if this was a Tea Party event. Democrats like these thugs can mob and beat whenever they want and get away with it.
Unions were created to protect workers when Government's didn't..
One time there was no minimum wage, or worker rights imposed by our governments.
Different time, different era and the Unions have out grown their usefulness, costing taxpayer and driving jobs out of the country to lower wage environments.
good luck with that living on minimum wage, working three jobs thing, Boomer.
The rights Unions won weren't to be paid at rates that kill companies and force non-union people into destitution. Unions have become as greedy as investors.
This law is about busting unions, lower wages and over time fewer worker rights, benefits and less job protection... Eventually there will be two classes of people. Those who own corporations and people with McJobs. I hope Canadians are smart enough to know that a race to the bottom is a bad idea.
They won't believe you gopher, they laughed when we marched against free trade in the early eightys because it was plain as pigeon **** that exporting all the good jobs was the plan. It happened exactly that way and still some people want to bend to the limit. Starving their children will bring the good times somehow. I cannot understand that.
In case you have forgotten, when unions were stronger the government did not allow exporting of jobs. MADE IN THE USA was something we were all proud of.
I'm sure our grandparents must be spinning in their graves. We are in the process of pissing away all the rights they fought so hard to achieve.
At some point people will figure out that Walmart, Home Depot and all these other union busting corporations are evil. Grinding poverty with no hope of a better future is a recipe for revolution. Eventually we'll have to riot and strike again to get fair compensation.
Yepper; JOBS JOBS JOBS. Good ol Lyin Brian.
We had a bunch of cops lay the clubs on us on Parliament Hill. Taught us a lot about the real center of power, the real vision of the Cons. They're never to be believed nor trusted.
They wound up with two seats. Unfortunately the Libs proved just as slimy, just not as overtly . Pick the snake you wish to bite you.
We're all being bitten now; just can't feel it right away.
We already have that. There are those with government jobs, and the rest of us that must pay for it.
Those lyin Conservatives, I'm voting Liberal.

Gee how come nothing every changes?
How about voting NDP or Green?
Police, military, roads, hospitals, schools, universities, border security... all paid by tax dollars.
I don't have a problem with taxes, just with the way the current government spends some of our tax dollars.
If union members commit acts of violence, I support enforcing the law. I don't support busting unions. I support giving workers more power to hold union leadership accountable and make their actions more transparent.

Every product on the shelf of your local Wal*Mart was delivered by Union companies. There is no way hell Wal*mart would contract their services if they weren't cheap and reliable. Weyburn Wal*Mart is Unionized. It can be done.Partly true, perhaps! I know for a fact Walmart hires people who would otherwise have a tough time getting a job, so what we have is a person who is self sufficient and has pride in his/her work. Nothing evil about that!
Sure it's greed. That's what happens when money matters more than people.you gotta valid point there loner. Has to be a truism that many companies have folded because they couldn't afford to pay the wages and benefits.
unfortunately, they are lumped with companies who have folded because they have driven down the cost of production (wages included), but still seek an environment where wages are almost non existant - Mexico ? China ? You not think this is not fueled by greed. ?
Corporations are people. Somebody woodwinked somebody into giving them the Rights of people.Sure it's greed. That's what happens when money matters more than people.
I didn't think you would be someone that could understand cyclical concepts.I don't suppose you know that the competing wages and benefits are union got. No union no competition genius.![]()
Nope, just the way it is.That sounds like some Right winger nutter conspiracy theory.
LOL, if you're in the unions. We had to pay dues just to work on union sites. We got zero from the unions.Dues get you $5 an hour in pensions.
No it's sad that union idiocy forces companies either to avoid bidding on contracts on union jobs, or having the guys pay union dues for nothing in return. The anti-union company was so despeate they had to run under permit? That's hilarious.
