Pork Steaks browned in oil, then steamed low & slow for about
an hour, then lower still in a tomato sauce....with steamed
veggies and some shrimp....& stovetop stuffing 'cuz I really
like that stuff.

I picked up Jade Isle scallops in garlic sauce, shredded chicken in black bean sauce, shrimp fu yung, Kang's Szechuan green beans, his special mixed veggies, and dofu fa .... one of wifey's fave meals.

Not true. If you want to simmer the sauce, all the alcohol will boil off before any water boils off.
leftovers from yesterday:
pork soup, white rice, white wine, onions, lettuce, and lots of good spices
dessert: whipped cheese cream pie sweetened with coconut cream = Yum!!!!

Steak night in camp tonight. For some reason they insist on cooking them ahead and putting a perfectly good steak in a steam tray. Disgusting.
Why would they insist on that? By doing so much of the aroma is gone making it less desirable. Makes no sense at all.

We had oven cooked frozen fish. I cooked. :lol: Kind of a salad thing I just tossed together also. was shltty, but my wife said it was good. just bless her to bits, eh. Pan fried canned sliced potatoes. My specialty.
Tomorrow it's shake and bake chicken breasts with mashed potatoes and corn niblets.
