I'd guess that most of us who show an interest in gun discussions are not all that active personally with guns, it has much more to do with our belief not to interfere with people who are doing no harm. I haven't fired a gun in 20 years and probably won't again. I walk, I bowl, I gamble, I garden, I do household maintenance and repairs, I read books and other stuff. I.O.W. I'm busy!
Back ground checks do not prevent murder - therefore they are useless (although reasonable)

It's not the length of the list that counts, Bluebyrd, it's the length of the activity you are doing. I can watch paint dry and grass grow for hours!
haha......I'm an artist and a gardener amongst many things. I do not watch my paintings dry, I sell them and my gardening is all flowers, I also work in stain glass and I made quite a bit of my own furniture, sometimes combining stained glass in doors and lamps. Those are just a few of my fun doings.

Mass. becomes first state to ban bump stocks after the Vegas shootings. NRA made a half-hearted attempt to prevent it on the grounds the penalties were too severe - minimum 18 months maximum life.
