Believe as you wish. Interpret as you feel necessary to fit you, but don't attribute your thoughts to me.So if a person has a belief in things that you do not, they are little minded. Gotcha

The problem these days is that Christians are being too Christian. We have Islam coming in to take us over, and the Christians are letting them in with open arms. Neville Chamberlain would be proud.

All of the fallen human logic we can muster won't get us to the understanding we receive by grace through faith in Christ, Twila.
Not some references, MHz.
Along with God's mercy and grace, the whole counsel of Scripture and the person of Jesus Christ embody the righteousness and justice of God. We cannot simply discard these aspects of God's character because they are inconvenient, uncomfortable or both.
Mixed feelings on that one but have to see both sides. Not all Christians proseletize
I'm sorry Twila. But I do understand who Jesus, being a Jew himself, was talking to. I tend to percieve things relative to this topic, in a cultural context.how can faith in christ bring you understanding when your human logic (brain) can't muster you to understand to begin with?
what you've said is basically "you may not be smart enough to understand something so don't keep trying. Just give up and you will some how magically know it because you have faith in christ. It's circular and doesn't work because either you are smart enough to understand or you are not. You can't be both because you wouldn't have been dumb to begin with.
So this basically advocates for humans to stop trying to understand what is going on in the world, with themselves and around them and to just accept it. First of, humans can't do that. If we could we would not have invented so many gods to explain that which we didn't understand. 2. to advocate for people to not try, is to tell them to accept their lot and that makes for a caste system which we know if basically a form of slavery. Which we know, as humans and not because of the bible, which advocates slavery, is morally repugnant.
Clearly christians have done just such things, otherwise all of the OT would be in play still and you wouldn't be wearing mixed fabrics, eating shell fish, getting divorced and remarried, women wouldn't be speaking in churches, working on saturday, you'd keep slaves, etc.
Proselytization is the seeking of converts, and it is something Christians are ommanded to do (Matthew 28:18–20).
It would seem to be a true christian, one must follow the rules as laid out by their god in the bible, yes?

Christians made their homeland a hellhole and most citizens are opting to return home as more than 1M already have so the immigrants are the rebels soldiers that now need a home. Reaping what we have sewn, for better or for worse. We have Islam coming in to take us over, and the Christians are letting them in with open arms.
It looks like it should say 'You are a way off course' because that is what you are when mentioning God.the original cross is/was a measuring instrument
for navigation,building, and surveying/mapping
thats why we CROSS an ocean
The Working Celtic Cross

I'll take that as a 'No.' as far as references go.Not some references, MHz.

Ultra Right Wing Republican Christians...... lmao.... give me a break.
Who would have thought Occupy Wall Street were Ultra Right Wing Republican Christians.

Christians don't have authority over anything, but they are more left-wing than the general public on certain topics like immigration.Christians have been awarded authority over immigration, Glacier?
What constitutes being a Christian and what disqualifies them from being a Christian? Sometimes on weekends when taking my walk I get accosted by one judgmental pr*ck , who I am sure thinks he is a Christian. I would argue that Christians aren't loud and obnoxious and more or less mind their own business.
Because most poor people in the West today are poor through their own fecklessness and laziness.

There could be something wrong with the western education establishment.
The laws, unfortunately, make sense. It's a food handling and safety issue. Not to mention there've been enough freaks out there willing to poison wildlife and other people's pets they find annoying. It's not a big step from there to giving poisoned food to people who are "annoying".
On the other hand, church and soup kitchens don't have an infinite supply food to feed everyone everyday.
I was going to make a crack about the right-wing Christian fundamentalists being confused Hebrews but in this case it wouldn't make sense. OT laws stipulated that farmers were not to harvest the corners of their fields, leaving them to the poor so that the poor could eat while still maintaining some measure of dignity by working for it and not having to beg for food.

Cuz they ain't f**king Christians...........Christians don't a make a nuisance of themselves by putting pressure on people, Christians don't set standards for others to adhere to and Christians don't stick their f**king noses into other people's business and Christians don't gossip! That should take care of a few of them! (Non Christians that is)![]()
