That was a killing offense? It was raining that evening I would wear a hoodie too in the rain. As for the rest in case you haven't noticed most teenagers these days look like hoodlums! We don't run around killing them all, much as we might want to. In fact they could start with that 19 year old nit wit Justin Bieber who's pants waist line starts at his crotch, and his butt hangs out.

Come off it. I doubt Trayvon Martin was wearing a hoodie because it was raining. Don't be so naive.

I don't know where the truth lies, it could be "guilty", it could be "not guilty" or it could be somewhere in between. That's not the point, guilt has to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, so I think the correct verdict was arrived at.

actually wearing hoodies is the style of many young people and although it makes it easier for people to use a hoodie who have bad intent, it means relatively nothing to see a 17 year old wearing a hoodie when it is 80 degrees...younguns are crazy that way.

I don't think Zimmerman is person with a clear understanding of human behaviour, and if a regular cop is hired on the merits of low IQ and he is just a rent a cop...well 'nough said.

few brains, a gun and anger issues coupled with a black kid in a hoodie on a rainy night...yeah, something is gonna go down

Not guilty in terms of law. What goes on in his head is another matter. He seems like the sort who can sluff off remorse

I agree with this, in the end, a young man, that evidently lost his way in life is gone. I don't agree with what he did, but I don't think he deserved to die either.

I would say that George Zimmerman probably suffered with all kinds of remorse. It is a tough deal having to take a life, even in the struggle to preserve your own. However, in the aftermath and facing an outright blood lust from the misinformed public at large, I could understand becoming more distant from that reflection.

Trayvon Martin is dead because he made a poor choice. He ambushed someone with a gun and started beating him up. It is too bad this young man died, but he was the architect of his own demise.

Exactly.

Be more specific please. There were a few witnesses to the confrontation.

Surely you don't mean this dope...

That dope speaks 3 languages, do you? She is a very soft spoken woman, and she really did not want to be there, so she was resentful. I loved the volumes her yes sirs spoke.

If I had someone holding a gun on me and had the opportunity, I'd dummy the dude too - especially if he looked like a Cuban mugger.

Too many angles on this story for a straight-line back-and-white issue. Hence, the not guilty discharge

Here in Canada we do not shoot people for wearing hoodies because probably half the people do.Although I must admit for a few days after the shooting of Martin I would say "oh oh better shoot that one and that one, oops theres another hoodie shoot it". Personally I would rather wear a scarf than a hoodie but most Canadians choose the hoodie.

No, justice was not done. The letter of Florida law was obeyed. Big difference.

Justice was done.

This whole situation was brought about by Zimmerman, which means he is guilty of killing this boy,

Innocent... 100%... and free

Trayvon's father should go shoot the author of the bill and claim "he feared for his life" because any ******* with a gun can shoot him under it...

Ahhhh... the hatred is strong in this one.

Plus he mad

What the guy was wearing is not important. I think Zimmerman went hunting. He might do well to pick his hunting ground carefully in the future.

I don't care if Martin was wearing a yellow polka dot bikini............smashing someone's head into concrete IS reason enough to shoot him.

I could not disagree more.

GZ did not run Martin down, Martin returned to confront him.

The jury was correct.

He wasn't brandishing his gun. Jesus H Christ.

You embarrass yourself and by proxy Canadians.

Geez Juan, I am really surprised that you joined this presumptuous mob mentality.

Let's see how smart ya'll are.

Does anyone here know how and why Zimmerman majorly f*cked up in the first place?

This all could have been avoided if he didn't break that golden rule.

What was that rule?

I didn't join any mob. I just don't think Zimmerman is a man I would want to see with a gun. N o way of changing the decision made by the jury, but we don't have to like it.
