The spiting incidence (one Democratic representative was spat upon) was captured on video.

As for Cleaver's incident, it was captured on video. He passed a man who had cupped his hands and was shouting as Cleaver passed by. Some spittle seems to have sprayed. It could not have been pleasant, but it's a world away from being intentionally spat upon.

That is of course, TownHall’s interpretation of the incidence, they will try to show the teabaggers in the best light possible. But the point is, they do confirm that there is video evidence of the spitting incidence.

Yeah I saw that video. It was so unpleasant Cleaver wiped it on his mouth. :-?

As i said to somebody here, there is nothing wrong with broken record. It is a well accepted, well known debating technique, and is very effective in getting your point across.

That is known in technical jargon as exaggeration. It is an accepted and effective way of getting one's point across.

Doubling up on the BS just makes it twice as much BS

None taken Prax. Are you around for awhile? or just decided to visit the old stomping grounds?

In reference to the Tea Party, if you read my other stuff the "threats of violence" are mostly whinning. The only person that I know that got a bullet through the window was the GOP Minority Whip and recently the Feds busted a lib for death threats.

But hey...what do I know.

The two were not related, EagleSmack. He was not arrested for the bullet, as you seem to imply.

And much as you may not like to admit it, the threats by Tea Party are very real. Tea Party and the right wing militia form the part of the same continuum.

"Just to jump in here, and I'm sure it's probably been said already, but I think the most disgraceful thing of all of this Christian Militia / Tea Party garbage, is that the Republican Party isn't shunning and trying to quell the violence, rage, anger, racism, and to push people back into a more democratic process of debate..... instead, they're basically promoting it and egging it on."

And, of course, the most shameful thing is that the Democratic Party never disowned the totally racist Million (hahaha) Men March.

Talking about monochrome!

Who said they were related.

Ran out of arguments? Trying to make up things because you have nothing to refute the facts?

Typical troll.

Very real? Real in the sense that these accusations actually happened? Or just more trolling?

Fact. Someone DID shoot a bullet at the GOP House Minority Whips office. Something tells me it wasn't from a Conservative.

Troll on joey...troll on.

The Ultra Left Liberals are far more dangerous than the Right, Your people con their way into power with impossible promises targeting the poor, and those who don't know any better.

Since it is a continuum, you're part of it as well.

But of course you know that already.

Now you are being pedantic. Looked at it one way, we are all part of the same continuum. However, Tea Party and the terrorist militias are not all that far apart on the continuum. Somebody left of centre like me is far removed from the terrorism of the right wing militias.

Who said they were related.

You did. Or at least you implied. That is the only reason why you mentioned the two of them in the same sentence.

The only person that I know that got a bullet through the window was the GOP Minority Whip and recently the Feds busted a lib for death threats.
It is a classic technique in propaganda. Put two unrelated incidences together, so that they will appear to be related, without actually saying so. Wouldn’t surprise me if you got his little gem from the Republican Politburo.

Fact. Someone DID shoot a bullet at the GOP House Minority Whips office. Something tells me it wasn't from a Conservative. Troll on joey...troll on.
Sure they did. And in the same breath you mention that somebody has been arrested. A great piece of propaganda there, a classic instance of misrepresentation. Republican Politburo would be proud (assuming yoi did not borrow this little titbit from them in the first place).

And the right doesn’t? Doesn’t the right always promise sound fiscal management, balanced budget, to cut spending etc.? And what they do when they come to power? They increase spending (Republicans increased spending every year they were in power, same way Harper has increased spending every year that he has been in office), they rack up huge debt, huge deficits, they cause economic meltdowns (Bush caused two during his eight years), they make a gigantic mess of the economy. Then it is up to the liberals to clean up the mess.

. Again with the Bush. You and your Liberals had almost 2 1/2 years to do something before you got our current train wreck elected. What has since happen, war continues with gusto, debt tripled + what happened in Bush's 2 terms, and of course guess what, were going to start drilling for oil off our coasts. The funny thing is Obama has only been in office for 452 days or so.
