St. Louis sure made a big push right after they scored the first goal, it gave them
life and hope. When a team is playing 'one' game that means their season, they
are not going to go down easy, they have lots of pride and desire to win, just like
canucks do. Being up 2-0 is no guarantee of anything, there was still half a game
to play, and to say that they blew a lead and let the other team in is ridiculous, it
gives no respect to St. Louis. It was a 'battle', hard fought by both teams, back and
forth, they were playing for their season, and it showed, good for them, I don't want
to see 'easy' games, that gets boring. We weren't playing a bunch of pylons, we were playing a team just as capable of winning as the canucks are, but the canucks
have a more 'thorough team', better defense, and when the dust settles they seem to come to the forefront and get the job done.
St. Louis's young stars played their best game tonight, and as each game was played those young players were getting better and better, that team has a
very bright future, but not this year.
Congratulations to the canucks, they fought through it, and found a way to win.
Burrows was our hero again, and Luongo had a great game, BUT so did Mason.
