The election featured a party promising to ban assault weapons.

Here in Toronto we are reading in the news about how 3 people were shot to death.....................

and two others were wounded at YET ANOTHER AirBnB condo .............................

and our mayor Jackass John the sorry Tory thinks the solution to such violence is..............................

TO CLOSE AIRBNB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackass John must have been visiting a Head Shop and stocking up on that newly legal HERB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jackass John is SO CONFUSED - he thinks HOTEL ROOMS are the cause of GUN VIOLENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently Jackass John DOES NOT UNDERSTAND the role a gun plays in a violent situation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Court case in Nova Scotia about the release of a veteran with ptsd from a hospital the day before he killed his family and himself.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/desmond-day-5-1.5449968

From the testimony:

Feb 3 2020 12:40 PM
Miller asks whether there's any way for doctors to verify if the patient has access to a firearm.

There's not, but Dr. Clark says he agrees that would might be valuable to have an independent way to find out if someone owns a gun.

Even if they don't own a gun what's to stop them from stealing or borrowing one or failing that use another method to accomplish the deed. You must be old enough by now to realize, there is no way to be 100% safe short of being dead. The best we can do is take the NORMAL precautions and hope for the best.

But they need those high powered scoped and lit rifles to hunt for sustenance. Or steal ATVs.
haha The last ATV that was stolen around here was not stolen by either of the two natives in the neighbourhood, but by a larcenous, young, white kid that's the son of a larcenous father that's sitting in the sinbin, ATM. lol
Um, so only white men can hunt with high-powered scoped and lit rifles?
