That is the nice thing about unregistered firearms. The government doesn't know you have them so they can't steal them.Just don't get caught with unregistered firearms.. 3 years in prison..
No thank you.. don't want my asshole stretched. :lol:
Or even pay you 10¢/dollar for them.That is the nice thing about unregistered firearms. The government doesn't know you have them so they can't steal them.
Yeah, the numbers seem off.BTW, I doubt the accuracy of this poll. Any one with any common sense, when someone calls you up on the phone and asks "Do you have any guns" responds "Guns! Perish the thought!!!" I would, while standing within 10 feet of 25.
If you mentioned the grease gun hanging on a hook in the tool shed , they would have sent the swat team .Yeah, the numbers seem off.
Or reply with, "yes, we have an Arrow glue gun, a Wagner paint gun, a couple automotive spray guns, and a couple supersoakers". lol
To the gun grabbers an electric grease gun would be an automatic.If you mentioned the grease gun hanging on a hook in the tool shed , they would have sent the swat team .
Yeah, the numbers seem off.
Or reply with, "yes, we have an Arrow glue gun, a Wagner paint gun, a couple automotive spray guns, and a couple supersoakers". lol

More police officers and policing departments across Canada are voicing their opinions on the Liberal government’s proposed gun ban.
While campaigning for re-election in 2019, Trudeau promised that his government would give municipalities more authority to ban handguns in their districts.
The Liberals are also nearing a decision to ban “assault-style” rifles. Public Safety Minister Bill Blair recently revealed that the government is willing to bypass debate on the issue in the House of Commons and use an Order in Council to effectively force their plans into law.
The list of current and former officers doubtful of the ban’s ability to effectively combat illegal crime has been growing by the day.
Here are eleven police officers and policing experts who have gone on record speaking out against the proposed ban, in their own words.
President of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police Adam Palmer
“People can’t be naive to the realities of how it works with organized crime and smuggling,” said Palmer.
“There will always be an influx of guns from the United States into Canada… Heroin is illegal in Canada, too, but we have heroin in Canada.”
President of the Toronto Police Association Mike McCormack
“There’s no way in my world or any world I know that this [a handgun ban] would have an impact on somebody who’s going to go out and buy an illegal gun and use it to kill another person or shoot another person,” claimed McCormack.
Former police officer and True North Fellow Leo Knight
”More regulations on law-abiding citizens is profoundly stupid. It is done by incompetent governments faced with a problem who want to be seen to be doing something but aren’t smart enough to actually figure out what to do,” said Knight.
Retired Toronto Police Holdup Squad Staff-Inspector Mike Earl
According to Earl, “A handgun ban is ridiculous and doesn’t address the actual problem of criminals shooting up the city. [John] Tory is looking for an easy answer, but there is no easy answer.”
Former Chief of Ontario Provincial Police Chris Lewis
“It would be unmanageable and unfair to the majority of handgun owners who obey the law and always use their guns safely. Let’s effectively deal with the criminals that do NOT obey the current criminal law,” said Lewis.
“A handgun ban in Toronto will do nothing to abate gun crime. A city ban would have to be a bylaw, and criminals are totally ignoring criminal law, so a bylaw ticket likely won’t scare them! And the “law abiding” handgun owners are just that, and not a threat,” he tweeted.
Durham Regional Police Chief Paul Martin
“From a policing standpoint, it would be a nightmare to enforce,” Martin remarked.
Winnipeg Police Service
“I guess it might make people feel good but it will not change the threat level one iota,” claimed Winnipeg Police Service spokesperson Const. Rob Carver.
Winnipeg Police Inspector Max Waddell
“The reality is, if criminals want to get their hands on [a gun], they’re going to get their hands on it. [A ban is] not going to do anything. It will come from illegal means again,” argued Waddell.
“If people wish to get and claim an illegal gun, they’re going to do it.”
RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki
“It’s difficult for me to say, honestly. I’m not sure if a complete ban is the answer, or tweaking the legislation to ensure more accountability. That’s definitely something we need to study,” said Lucki.
Halifax Regional Police
“We believe we have necessary laws and regulations in place in relation to firearms. We respect the right of citizens to own guns legally and recognize that the majority of gun owners act responsibly and comply with gun regulations,” stated Halifax Regional Police Spokesperson Const. John MacLeod.
Regina Police Chief Evan Bray
“Banning something doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re not going to have firearm-related crime in your community,” Bray noted
“This isn’t … an exercise for us to try and further restrict or victimize people that are obeying the law when it comes to firearms.”

You sure do a lot of sniveling about my posts, wacko.OH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our burned out Ember
Competing petitions:
Petition to the House of Commons (e-1923 Firearms)
Whereas:
We, the undersigned, Canadian citizens, call upon the Government of Canada to implement a ban on the civilian ownership of handguns and military assault weapons.
- Handguns account for 58% of shooting homicides;
- Military assault weapons such as the AR-15 used in the Parkland Florida massacre are sold to civilians in Canada;
- There are now nearly 1 million legally owned handguns in Canada;
- Many legal handguns end up in the hands of violent criminals as a result of illegal sales, theft and diversion;
- More crime guns that are traced come from Canadian sources;
- Handguns and military weapons are not used for hunting, by farmers or indigenous people for legitimate purposes and United States style arming for “self- protection” is rising;
- The Supreme Court of Canada has said there is no “right” to own guns, like the United States Second Amendment, in Canada;
- Easy access to handguns and other restricted and prohibited weapons fuels gang violence, domestic violence, suicide and undermines community safety;
- Canada has the fourth highest rate of gun deaths among OECD countries and is one of few developed countries to have loosened its gun laws in past decades;
- Countries like the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan have shown that strict gun control laws lead to dramatically lower gun homicide, crime and death rates;
- The majority of Canadians support stronger gun laws; and
- Reducing easy access to handguns and military assault weapons will increase safety in both urban and rural Canada.

e-2341 (Democratic process)
The Government of Canada has expressed its intention to ban, what it refers to as “military-style assault rifles”, through an Order in Council;
We, the undersigned, citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to put any new firearms laws, bans, buyback programs or changes to licencing before the House of Commons to be debated.
- Public Safety Canada’s information notes this is not a legal definition in Canada;
- The use of an Order in Council is an egregious overreach of executive authorities, bypassing the democratic process of the House and the elected representatives of Canadians;
- This executive order would strip law-abiding Canadians it has approved through the RCMP Canada Firearms Program, of their legally purchased property;
- The use of an Order in Council ignores the Government’s survey on firearms where “the majority of respondents did not support further limiting access to firearms & assault-style firearms”;
- The proposed buyback of legal, licenced firearms could cost the Canadian taxpayer over $250,000,000 which could be better spent on initiatives that have an appreciable positive impact on public safety such as: deter youth from gangs, addiction treatment, mental health, strengthened border security, and increase police anti-gang capacities;
- An Order in Council ban on “military-style assault rifles” would fail to take firearms away from criminals; and
- A ban would unfairly target Canadian firearms owners who are already among the most vetted in Canadian society. Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) and Restricted PAL (RPAL) holders are subject to daily screening and are statistically proven to be less likely to commit crimes than non-PAL & non-RPAL holders.

Petition e-1923 (Firearms) ended with 20,110 signatures, after running full term.
Petition e-2341 (Democratic Process) has 135,009 signatures, with 17 days to go before closure.
Shows who cares, and who doesn't, to say the least..
You sure do a lot of sniveling about my posts, wacko.
lol Pathetic. That coming from the simple mind of a lunatic that constantly starts out with "Poor burned out Ember...................."the quality of her education is showing through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
her idea of intelligent debate is Parroting the same single word insult.......................
until the cows come home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We both signed 2341 and spread the word.BTW, the petition against the gun bans is by far the largest petition presented to the Federal gov't in Canadian history. The second largest was in support of Electoral Reform after the Trudeau gov't scuttled Electoral Reform when it wasn't going their way.........and it garnered a mere 130,452 signatures.
lol Pathetic. That coming from the simple mind of a lunatic that constantly starts out with "Poor burned out Ember...................."
