Trudeau was the greatest prime minister Canada has ever had

He also introduced wage and price control...
Retroactive to a certain date...and we had signed a contract a few days after that date and had to pay back money earned.....you can have him!

Trudeau was a VERY young man, still in his mid-teens, when he took up fascism. I'm not sure you can hold that against him. One learns...

When I was 18, I was a Marxist.

One learns.....

There are lots of coherent, straightforward, and reasonable reasons to despise the SOB for his actions as an adult, with a mature intellect.

Such as the FLQ Crisis.......

Fascism and socialism are very closely related and are almost indiscerable by the governed proletariat. Both are left wing policies, just different ideologies meant to keep the governors in power. Trudeau learned all right, which type of governance style would propel him to the tower of power and keep him there.

I don't know about that. As for his economic policies, they were atrocious, but I'll give him praise where it's due. He did contribute to the establishment of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. As flawed a document as it is, it's still superior to the previous Canadian Bill of Rights in some ways. Though I do agree that even it needs revamping. However, looking at it from an evolutionary standpoint, it's still better than what preceded it.

The Charter cherry picked parts from the Bill of Rights, too bad they left out the right to own and enjoy private property, that was an intentional omission by Trudeau at the behest of Ed Broadbent. That will never be gained back, the Charter is not a living document.

It should also be pointed out that there has always been a special relationship between Canada and
China. Doctor Norman Bethune, was a national hero in that country and is still revered today in China.
Canada, whether Liberal or Conservative, both parties have always worked with the Chinese leadership
as trade is a powerful tool for all concerned.

Dealing with despots diplomatically is a fine art, but Trudeau seemed to enjoy their company so much that you cannot help but question his motives.

Trudeau was a lot of things but he wasn't stupid and he was not a separatist.

Absolutely not, he was advised that if Quebec were to separate, the French influence in the rest of Canada would be at risk. We now live with the influence of French Civil Law beating down English Common Law.

No one cares about what Albertans think. They're an embarrassment to Canada and all of them traitors.

Fascism is not a policy...it's a system, and it's not left or right by nature, but by the policies the government enacts...

Shut up troll.

In the lead-up to the Second World War, fascism was an extreme right-wing movement.

But still far higher than the lovers of a corrupt Liberal government that steals from the west to pay bribe to supporters in Quebec and Ontario.

If you had spent any time in the study of political science, you would know that the left-right spectrum is more accurately depicted as a circle......with the extreme left and the extreme right coming together at the bottom as simple top-down horrific tyranny.

Could the people of Hitler's Germany or Stalin's Russia tell the difference between the NSDAP and the Communist Party?

No.

They were exactly the same.

Legally that money belongs to Albertans.
Do I detect a bad case of penis envy here?

Render unto Caesar. The money that Alberta pays into Federal Revenue is largely because there is simply more economic activity there, it's not specifically taking oil money. In fact, the "other" source of revenue collected in Alberta is higher than it was in Ontario:

Yep.

You spout rhetoric that demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of the basics of political science, or of Canadian constitutional law, or even the basics of Canadian taxation distribution and equalization......

But we are the ones with the low IQ.

Riiiggggghhhhhtttttt...

ROTFLMAO!!

You funny man!
