But don't worry, when the time comes I'll help you get across the wire to freedom

Only if "hordes" translates to homosexuals, liberals and welfare bums.

The West can get what it wants (equality and fair treatment)
without separation. BTW...welcome aboard grainfedpraiboy.
A Western BlocK Party with the mandate of non-separation
called the "Voice of the West" Party. I'll put a link to the
Thread on your wall so I don't completely highjack this
Thread. I'm a Canadian first, and proud of it too.

Somebody here said that 'our votes are constanly bought'.

And nothing illustrates our collective stupidity better than the fact that we either don't realize or choose to ignore the fact that we are bribed with, and our votes are bought by our own money, previously confiscated by the bastards we were foolish enough to put them in that powerful position in the first place.

So, promises mean nothing to me.

However, I could NEVER cast my vote for a party that endorses the butchering of innocent lives in the womb.

I would never vote for a party that over-taxes and robs the achievers and gives the hard-earned fruits of our labour to the free-loaders.

I would never cast my vote for a party that gives advantage to the undeserving, just because the colour of their skin, their gender or their professed sexual preferences in the name of the phoney credo of "levelling the playing field".

I would never vote for a party whose members object to the display of a Nativity scene in the Christmas season in our country which was founded on judeo-Christian principles and is stil predominantly a Christian country.

I would never vote for a party whose adherents flock to Cuba for vacationing, while ignoring the fact that the poor sucker who brings them their Cuba-libre is a virtual slave and earns 25 Canadian cents a day.

Or the party whose adherents endorsed Saddam Hussain, glorified Lenin, Marx and Stalin and whose adherents still endorse Hugo Chavez, Robert Mugabe and the idiot little brother of big Fidel.

I could go on but by now it must be fairly obvious that I would never vote for the party of Trudeau, Chretien and Ignatieff.

Or (Heaven forbid) Stephen and/or David Lewis, Ed Broadbent or Jack Layton.

As a man of my age if would depend upon if I was single – Then it would be twins, as they would both be future pension plans – and they would both need to have a really good health benefits plans – Viagra one day – Celebrex the next – That co-pay can really drain the old wallet.

Dumping the anti-terror legislation

legalizing (or decriminalizing) marijuana

Dumping the Firearms Act

Expanding and upgrading the military.

Dumping anti-hate legislation, and the CHRC's quasi-judicial role.

Fiscal sanity.

Sanity in foreign relations, friendly to the US, Israel, Great Britain........suspicious of the UN.

The last one is what keeps me voting CPC. Well, and the gun control issue. And they are best on the military.

I read several years ago that Canadian interest rates for consumers throughout the 80s and 90s were 2% higher then the global average because of the uncertainty associated with Quebec and one can only imagine how many billions Canadians have paid extra on their mortgages, car loans plus the extra the Fed has paid to support the debt.......the one incurred largely to appease Quebec.

Freed of the shackles of the ROC - I imagine my real estate investments would rapidly rebound and increase in value.

Ya, but me and the rest of us 'Injun's' will be heading the other way...;-)

So what would be you plan of action for the Reserves? The 'Injun' problem and the other less then desirable people in your new found country?

What about a currency?

The Canadian dollar?

Do you really think your economy would stay afloat?

Only if "hordes" translates to homosexuals, liberals and welfare bums.
:lol:That kind of commentary around here can get you lynched bru...;-) This place is heavy Liberal...Colpy's about the only sane one around.

if you're a left-winger, what could a right-wing party offer that would make you at least consider voting for it?

If you're a right-winger, what could a left-wing party do to make you at least consider voting for it?

If you're a centrist, coudl could a non-centrist party do to make you at least consider voting for it?

Sometimes you have to pay a premium price for nice neighbours :lol::lol: and Quebec is one of our neighbours- just think of the prices people pay to live in British Properties (West Vancouver) to get the type of neighbours you find there.
