Somebody here said that 'our votes are constanly bought'.
And nothing illustrates our collective stupidity better than the fact that we either don't realize or choose to ignore the fact that we are bribed with, and our votes are bought by our own money, previously confiscated by the bastards we were foolish enough to put them in that powerful position in the first place.
So, promises mean nothing to me.
However, I could NEVER cast my vote for a party that endorses the butchering of innocent lives in the womb.
I would never vote for a party that over-taxes and robs the achievers and gives the hard-earned fruits of our labour to the free-loaders.
I would never cast my vote for a party that gives advantage to the undeserving, just because the colour of their skin, their gender or their professed sexual preferences in the name of the phoney credo of "levelling the playing field".
I would never vote for a party whose members object to the display of a Nativity scene in the Christmas season in our country which was founded on judeo-Christian principles and is stil predominantly a Christian country.
I would never vote for a party whose adherents flock to Cuba for vacationing, while ignoring the fact that the poor sucker who brings them their Cuba-libre is a virtual slave and earns 25 Canadian cents a day.
Or the party whose adherents endorsed Saddam Hussain, glorified Lenin, Marx and Stalin and whose adherents still endorse Hugo Chavez, Robert Mugabe and the idiot little brother of big Fidel.
I could go on but by now it must be fairly obvious that I would never vote for the party of Trudeau, Chretien and Ignatieff.
Or (Heaven forbid) Stephen and/or David Lewis, Ed Broadbent or Jack Layton.
