is THAT a serious question.?? Or do you treat the idea of invading another nation as casually as putting on your socks in the morning. What's another war to you?? I guess there is just not enough death ,destruction, maiming, and torture for your appetite with the current simultaneous military actions.

The unspoken and unacknowledged tragedy unfolding is that people (some) in general are starting to get immune to war. That is what happens when they go on and on with more starting all the time. Folks become "conditioned" to the war theater/ environment / killing.

Actually, people not having a sense of humor, not lightening up, taking things so damn serious, demanding others live, believe and act the same way as they do because they're easily offended is why there's so many wars going on as it is.

AKA: Lighten up before you have a stroke.

Sorry, but I don't see the humor in war , killing en masse or even treating the subject lightly. There is NOTHING humorous about bombs maiming people, children , pets and destroying the region they attack.

So , YES.......I consider anything to do with war behavior and words as very serious.& deadly . Call it a "character flaw".... but that is how it is.

Yes and there's nothing funny about cancer, flesh eating disease, world hunger, poverty, human rights violations and a slew of other serious matters, but if you can't make fun of everything then you can't make fun of anything..... and if we were serious and worried all the time about every single negative thing that exists in our lives, then we'd be too scared to take a dump.

Having a Sense of Humor is the only way to remain sane in an insane world.

Well, I might argue that anybody is sane but a sense of humour can help maintain a sense of balance and equilibrium in this asylum.

Right when we finish off a group of picnicing nuns on the US border with Canada.

:lol::lol:............gettem!!!:lol:

The USA has intervened in those Somali conflicts and allowed thousands of refugees into the Twin Cities where their youths are involved in gang crimes. You can bet more will now be coming here, taking more welfare and social services, and increasing teen crimes.

They let a few into Canada as well. Done wonders for Ottawa.

Your hero Reagan claimed to have ''liberated'' Nicaragua from a democratically elected government, remember? And let's not forget that your god George Bush claimed ''Mission Accomplished'' when he liberated [sic] Iraq.

Moving the goal posts I see. Typical.

Reagan claimed to have liberated Nicaragua? Now you're just being foolish.

:lol::lol:............gettem!!!:lol:

.

Just as soon as they lay out their red and white checkered blanket and reach for the picnic basket... they're done!

So why are liberals, by and large, so totally devoid of it?
That is only from the perspective of someone without a sense of humour. The first prerequisite to having one is the ability to laugh at ones self. Look in the mirror Jack. Do you see anything other than a dark shadow?

Has any liberal ever had the courage and the sense of humour to laugh at the gaffes of 0bama? Or Jean Cretin? Or Trudeau (original or present day imitation thereof)?

When we do attack France. I plan on being the guy to shoot all the mimes. Just for artistic measure I'll use a silencer.

mentalfloss, your laconic three-letter answer to my question falls somewhat short of validity and credibility. Feel free to support your contention with data. I don't even care if it comes from a flamingly liberal source. You know, like the main stream media.

IF you want to lecture ..........fine. Do it in an appropriate area. Otherwise the topic is Somalia.

.......for the record: one has to have a sense of humor just to come to this forum and read some of the tripe that is stated. That part is a given.

IF you are so keen on attacking FRANCE..........why not lead the pack.??? Go for it.

Absolutely. But NONE world wide have been as "funny" as the american called BUSH. Now that bloke was just an endless stream of comic material........to the point.....the word "BUSHISMS " was formed to deal with that category alone.

a very fine talent from Somalia is in Canada now. Waving' Flag ( song gone viral world wide) by K'NAN.

YouTube - ‪'Wavin' Flag' by K'naan (Official World Cup Theme Song) on QTV‬‏

Now here is a true success story against all kinds of adversity.

Just WHO has Slaughtered more now with no end in sight. The west has given those terrorists far too much attention, and credit. Terrorism is a CRIME.......a CRIME warrants an appropriate response. It is not war. The fact that the US chose to respond with WAR , was for the US own benefit. Let's not be fooled by the USG propaganda. The US was itching for an excuse to invade and occupy the ME. ( and for obvious reasons) 9-11 was the "gift" that just keeps on giving. as we have seen over the past decade. And the sheeple are non the wiser as they have been so programmed by the fearmongering re: terrorists...... they don't dare think for themselves or ask the critical questions. When they do , they are branded a traitor or "with the terrorists" which is the most stupid thing anyone came up with........but it works.....as a form of mind control ~ as people become "terrified " at being identified with what is remotely terror related.

One does not have to feel sorry for anyone. IMHO........it is important to assess this dynamic in as objective a way as possible.

No.

Terrorism is not a crime.....especially not when it is state-sponsored, as bin Laden was by the Taliban.......it is an act of war.

More people died on 9-11 than in the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

2,402 died at Pearl.

2,937 died on 9-11.

And you think it was the equivalent of a robbery gone bad.......

Uh-huh.

(Insert rolled eyes here)
