Socialism is home to power hungry individuals as well, socialism is not immune to the human condition of greed. Power is in all cases the high card and capital is frequently converted into that method of exchange with profitable results.

Apparently you haven't heard - Chavez, b4 he died, took over all the foreign owned companies. So no, it wasn't the U.S. - it was his socialistic ideas which, as history has shown, failed and the people of Venezuela are the ones to suffer.
