You're entitled, but you don't post immature tripe or nonsensical pictures. That is the only thing Cliffy does.

Yep, the Utopia that Cliffy 'lives' in just doesn't exist anywhere! But that is his "realism". He's not the first one..............check out Samuel Taylor Coleridge. :)

I've no need. Like four or five others here, he is a hateful, bitter old man.

He has no redeeming qualities.

Potty mouth. Aha! Inside your head still, noting the cobwebs.

Cry Cliffy. Get angry and cry. No one cares.

Actually (I've been in Nakusp a few times) and it's probably closer to Utopia than 75% of the country - away from the maddening crowds.
It is stunningly gorgeous in Nakusp all year round and we get to avoid all the insanity of big cities and most of the political stupidity.

Never thought I'd hear myself saying this, but I think BC needs to step aside on this matter.

Sounds to me like Trudeau thinks Trump is going to walk away from NAFTA.

And if that happens, Canada will be left scrambling for new trade partners. Looks like Trudeau is pushing for this in an attempt to get ahead of the 8-ball before Trump pulls the plug.

He's pushing to try to gain new revenue streams into Canada before the shoe drops.

Smart move, in my opinion.

Canada needs to cut the ties that bind us to such dependency on US trade agreements... that country is too damn unstable these days to be trusted with any kind of economic partnership.

We need to protect the economy of our own country first and foremost.

Good sensible post, Cliffy. Continue in that vein and I doubt if you'll get criticism from Murphy. :)

Think how much prettier it will be once the town and its inhabitants are serviced solely by 100s of acres of sind farms and solar panels.

... it'll be so much nicer

wind farms perhaps?

I object to any and all trans geografical labeling. These sexual designations of land configurations must be kept out of science lest water courses decide to flow uphill against what is considered long standing postulates of water habits.

We have stepped aside long enough.

I think BC needs to find out what the exact nature of a spill will be because without knowing that there is no way to say if you can clean it up.

Vague promises and heart-warming rhetoric are not good enough.

We aren't talking about war veterans here.

I think the U.S.'s money spends as good as any other customer's. Best thing is just to ignore most of what Trumps says. He'll end up doing the right thing if he's left alone. One thing you can bet on- he won't "cut off his nose to spite his face".

Nonsence it could simply be set on fire thereby eliminating any environmental concerns whatever. You may not in good conscience object until you have eliminated the vastly more destructive nature of volcanic eruptions and the associated mutiple miles high toxic gas vomitus.
Fish are as a matter of considerable tradition routinely cooked in oil and as a rule no one objects.

Eventually, some drunken BC captain will run ashore and you'll find out really fast what the effects are.

Why wait, unless of course you're just waiting for happy hour to start

Re the "trade war" between Alberta and BC...

Why no trade war over energy east?

Lots of other provinces told Alberta to shove it?
