Re: Wikileaks' Whistleblower Subjected to Inhumane Conditions
I'm sure the right wing loonies would love to. Just remember that red neck hippies shoot back.
Easy now....
I just think accusations of torture are ludicrous, if the fact that the guy is held in 23 hour isolation is their only evidence of same.
Especially in a prison full of guys that would eviscerate him in a nanosecond, given the opportunity........and that's just the guards!!! :0
Treason is not a crime that inspires tough guy admiration or respect.....just the opposite.
As for the "heroics" of the crime, I think it is terrifically, in fact awesomely niave to expect nations to carry on their diplomacy in the open. Just ridiculous......and the exposure of diplomatic notes is destabilizing and dangerous in the extreme.
Follow this analogy; would you, at work or in your personal relationships, like to have everything you ever said about your boss, your co-workers, your friends, your relative publically exposed? That means criticisms, gossip, opinions...........etc.
If you would, than I must confess a belief you are either Saint Cliff of the Chat Room, or a psyhco.
Anyone normal would say of course not! A normal human being can not negotiate human relationships with perfect honesty and full disclosure.
Why would you assume it is different between nations?
