Trump is a like a breeze of fresh air when it comes to foreign affairs. His threatening language to North Korea is completely unexpected for their dictator Kim Jong Un who is literally pissing his pants out of fear. This is why North Korea is making desperate responses to Trump’s threats. Nothing any previous president ever did or said has made North Korea so nervous. Trump’s toughness has made even China begin to shrink away from its support of North Korea. They know Trump is a wild card and not a business as usual kind of president. What’s really scaring Kim Jong Un is the possibility that his own generals might launch a coup against his fat ass, resulting in his death, perhaps even a slow painful execution. The new military ruler of North Korea will come running to the negotiating table and give up their country’s nuclear weapons program and surrender their weapons. Who knows this could even result in the reunification of Korea and the collapse of the totalitarian regime in Pyongyang.

The Chinese have far more in common with the South Koreans than with the North. The North offers them nothing, save having a kindred single party system next door. I'm expecting that the Chinese are the most likely party to hasten Comrade Kim's demise by one means or another. A military encounter with the Western powers over the Korean Peninsula at this stage of China's development has no other outcome than negative.

I heard an "expert" on the subject who had an interesting perspective: the Chinese and the Russians don't like Kim, but they like him better than the prospect of Syria-like chaos in North Korea. So they throw him a little trade, a little aid, ignore his rants, and are content with the fact that he keeps his country quiet.

Don't seem like such a bad idea.

Thankfully for South Korea and Japan some rational people surround Trump ............

There is one thing about Trump that a lot of people seem to forget....................................He isn't stupid! :)

Well, all the people who have flattened themselves trying to take him out seem to be getting the message.

The Chinese love the idea that north Korean Opium is addicting and killing British and American teenagers, and helping put the CIA out of business.
They haven't forgotten the old opium wars of yesteryear, nor the people who ran it, and who their descendants are.

Chinese banks need to launder money too to stay afloat, just like western ones do.

Which raises another interesting subject..................money laundering. Apparently the casinos are reporting a problem that they are the victims of money launderers. H.T.F. would they know. If I stick a $20 in a machine, how can they tell if I got it pimping or from digging some old lady's garden?

So what do you thinkis the BEST WIN WIN outcome of all this rhetoric??

and Is it smart in your opine to provoke someone as temperamental as Kim with the kind of language Trump use?? Unless Trump WANTS Kim to lose it and do something that Trump will interpret as an attack on the US ( just about anything Kim does , Trump can interpret that way if it suits him )..........therefore giving Trump the "justification" to go militant on NK.

One can also say that what you describe as a breath of fresh air is also a form of Trump psychological disorder.

So one could say that we have TWO mentally unstable leaders doing provocative actions and words with one having the REAL Stockpile of WMD........and is prepared to use them.

One can only hope that wiser and cooler heads prevail........should these two idiots bring things to a boiling point.

Unless of course Trump has his own agenda by provoking Kim and has a military action planned with who knows what as an objective in that region. (One Korea again??) OR creating another US territory.? Or is Trump's objective a regime change?? Who will he put in place to run the country?? We have seen how well that scenario has worked in recent history.

Having not found W.M.D.s in Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with their presence or not. There was gold in B.C. for millions of years before anyone found it. :) :)
He isn't that smart either. He is a CON man who is a talented manipulator. He confabulates , repeats himself , and can handle only simple sentences or slogans. (unless the words are written for hi;m) The dotard is comfortable and relies on the language of threats and violence and bellicosity.

do a comparison to someone like Bloomberg....... who is intelligence. articulation and class personified. He DEFINES the word "PRESIDENTIAL. He was smart enough not to get the mud with Trump and others as the ugly election process unfolded.

Well he is smart enough not to bend over to little Kimmy even though you seem to think he should .

It isn't about bening to anyone. It is about being more mature, smarter, mores sensible inhandkling the erratic Kim and coming to some sort of understanding. One gets nowhere with name calling .........and only perpetuated the burning of short fuses.

IF the US is truly better and wiser....... it is not behaving that way. and this is where it should be.

It is also not an either or situation. Bending to Kim or removing him from the planet. Mind you that seems what Trump wants. as he is not doing anything to DIFFUSE the situation so some mature dialogue can take place. Both are being childish and both are trigger happy. being stubborn or working from the position of ego and pride is counterproductive

IMHO

Russia is giving both Koreas contracts to build a fleet of Arctic capable LNG ships. The US will need all those weapons to prevent the south holding a referendum to rejoin China.
I can refind the link about the contract being for both countries.

Canada included.
I Do . But this is about trump in Ocean Breeze's eyes . If and when the previous occupant of the White House trash talked N.Korea she was all onside .

That won't last now that the Nork leader seems to have flipped his three Stooges haircut and is threatening the United States with a nuclear attack. That's not quiet. Time to "expire" Kim.

That is where you are wrong. Lil'kimmy has to be treated just like a spoilt child having a temper tantrum. A good smack upside the head is the only thing he understands. Maybe if he had been spanked more as a child he wouldn't be this way.

According to flossy ice breakers are redundant. Better invest in burmuda shorts forn those Arctic journeys.

27, imagine when he is 77. Even Hugo wasn't gunned down.
I don't think the readers are taking into account that NK is the thorn in the side of the US that China could never be. The war in '53 would have drawn in all of China and the US cannot defeat China, then or now.
France (need I say more) was the UN protectorate over Vietnam so would that be the case in a larger area. The US fought Frances war in Vietnam. France also fuked up the Middle East, . . . and Libya. You guys sure she is on 'our side'??

That is where you are wrong. Lil'kimmy has to be treated just like a spoilt child having a temper tantrum. A good smack upside the head is the only thing he understands. Maybe if he had been spanked more as a child he wouldn't be this way.
Really? The leader of a country deserves that from you?? (of all people) Go steal a political poster over there and come back and fill us in how you straightened them out.

What you are describing is how to control you. NOBODY TAKE NOTICE

Maybe they should get some S-400 systems, then what, invasion by row boats??

The real question is, why drag NK out at all unless it is as a filler and the real headlines are not yet in position. I'm pretty sure most people know where the climax is going to happen and it ain't NK

do you REALLY think that physically abusing Kim is going to resolve the problem...........( going along with the spoiled child theme, Trump is behaving like a spoilt brat too. )

These two bullies should not even be dealing with each other. They are just too childish and erratic. An objective THIRD party is needed to mediate this. Someone not in close proximity andsomeone that is intelligant, mature, Wise , experienced ........and objective.

Angela Merkle comes to mind. or someone of her high caliber.

The two hotheads involved should be removed from the equation.Neither one is wise mature or objective enough to handle it. They are more interesting in provoking each other like the bullies they are.
