Here is the BS.
Your whining about Canadian problems in the light of our moving to help in Libya is like a rich fat man complaining about famine relief because he does not have enough cream cheese on his bagel.
Actually Lybia had the highest standard of living in Africa.
And I don't give a crap about rebels in some other country when we have our own undernourished children and working poor. I happen to believe we should get our own house in order before we spend any time or money on some other sovereign nation.
Some of you are obviously ****ed in the head if you think there are no serious problems at home.
Actually Lybia had the highest standard of living in Africa.
.
CNN is at it again, cheering on the slaughter by NATO of innocents once again.
CNN: "Ok Nick, can you stop talking and open a window so as our viewers can hear the gun-fire going on?"
Nick: "Ok...I`ve opened a window....can you hear it now?"
"Yes Nick, thats awesome, we can hear it now" pop-pop-pop-pop-pop
I would truely love to see either Lybia or NATO drop a bomb on CNN and it`s crew `covering` this act of aggression to finally bring home whats happening.

Bout time the West did something to help Libyans and Arabs live a better life...
Well it isn't logistically possible to police every inch of the world so one must pick and choose. Seems like common sense to pick the battles one has a bigger stake in."I guess both you and Nick support this as well? Read the links."....
Don`t talk so ****ing silly about "human rights" Goober.
We in the west (NATO) pick and choose constantly about who in the world deserves `human rights`. Its based on oil and what serves our interest in the end. We put a blind eye to the rest of Africa and its suffering at the hands of it`s leaders.
And you do what - Cheer on the soldiers deaths, celebrate them in fact. Seems the Libyans were asking for help. They got help, almost to late due to Obama the straddler - So who are you to say they, the Libyan people themselves are wrong."I guess both you and Nick support this as well? Read the links."....

And that is the reason the world turned its back on Rwanda - same applies to Uganda - Same applies to Somalia - Same applies to Sudan -Well it isn't logistically possible to police every inch of the world so one must pick and choose. Harry didn't go against the constitution neither did Obama, or for that matter George Bush.
the reason is the constitution is not broken is there is no declared war here at all. What
took place was an answer to a UN Resolution, asking for a policing action of sorts. Split
hairs if I will, what they did was legal, and this was not violence against Libya it is education.
The President of the United States has a lot of discretion, short of officially declaring war.
Libya is complaining the allies killed civilians, these were mostly in Government areas and
opposition forces are generally happy with the strikes. Rebels were under constant attack
and its time for this clown to be ousted from power. The other reason we are seeing the
action is because Europe needs oil and they will use a humanitarian excuse to get it.
Fact is most people in the west will support it because in Europe they need oil and in the
rest of the west want an end to Libya as a problem country. Like it or not right and wrong
has nothing to do with the equation
I like reading your opinions. I don't always agree with you. But I can tell you are thinking independently. This statement is a bullseye: The other reason we are seeing the action is because Europe needs oil and they will use a humanitarian excuse to get it.
I agree with you.
IMO, this war is legal and justified. Gadhafi actions justified the intervention. The UNSC has the authority and responsibility to intervene in a humanitarian crisis.
Governments must not be allowed to use force to remain in power.
This principle should apply to all countries, not just the ones with oil and leaders we don't like.
