Sadly, he considers himself a missionary. Someone who was sent here to save us from ourselves. He mocks any religion other than his own. He insults and berates everyone. In the same breath, he talks about being tolerant and preaching the word of Mo. Well, that's two faced.
Of course, when others attack his words, again he starts in saying that we will all pay for it after we die. Sounds like an old time preacher man to me.
The problem is, it is difficult to distinguish the non-violent from the violent ones. Nassir (selfsame) is a Muslim evangelist who wore out his welcome long ago.

The news tape at the bottom of CBC tonight said that Muslims are distributing pamphlets across Canada. I didn't see it, husband did.
Mormons sometimes come to the door too.
The last time a JW came to my door he asked me if I was concerned about the state of the world today. I said, 'No I believe God has it firmly in hand and He doesn't need our help. Why don't you come in and I'll explain it to you? I would LOVE to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discuss his prophesies and the Power of God.'
They couldn't get away fast enough! Haven't seen them since.
I figured that since they believe in preaching and converting, they should know that it can work both ways. I'm still laughing when I think about it.
I personally think "God" is a power within one's self. Another term is "self fulfilling prophesy". Put another way you can often do anything you put your mind to. It's worked for me for most of my life and I think it will for most people whose quests are reasonable. Just don't try to displace Mother Nature.

Could be. I don't know. Religion though, has been abused as a means of control for thousands of years. Even the word itself in it's latin origin means to "bind" or "tie back". Still, I think there is someting mysterious and real. And there were several teachers who I feel were ahead of their times spiritually. One of these teachers was the one they called Yeshua in Hebrew, Iesous in the greek translation and Jesus in english. I have always liked his teachings.
My impression about people here in this forum
There are more than 2 groups:
The first group:
Jews that are of noble descent and who were grown up upright by their parents and by their own discipline to have their excellent manners and morale .. one of these is darkbeaver, and the other one is Petros
both are truthful, they are sincere, they don't lie, they are respectful people .. although they are Jews (as I think) and of course they love their people .. this is a natural thing;
darkbeaver has his qualifications I think in the field of veterinary medicine (as I think), and he is scientific and respectful person.
Petros too has his high medical qualifications (as I think)
When I asked either of them about some English words they answered my question, but when they saw that I wanted to attack the disbelievers among their people, they withheld .. it is also natural thing.
The second group:
are rascals, they are the Wicked Zionists, they are liars, rancorous, foolish and are not shameful of saying any lie and uttering any words; these are like:
Murphy and his father: they are like the driver of carts (with all my respect to cart drivers): it is a parable related to their manners and wickedness. Their manners are like the manners of the seller who has finished the selling of his goods .. this also is a parable. [See what his father did to the JW men, as he said in his post]
It includes also Ludlow who is not ashame of telling any lie, and he is mean: he accepted to carry out the job of concluding my posts with any words whatsover.
Others in this category is Cdn bear: like murphy and Ludlow in this respect.
I wouldn't waste 5 seconds thinking about it, Ludlow ..............just one more nutter amongst many!

Selfie, here's the deal. Maybe it'll get through. The reason nobody's impressed with your tedious passages from the Holy Qu'ran or the haditha is that nobody here accepts that the Qu'ran is the word of Allah. It's just a book. It's like the plays of William Shakespeare or the Harry Potter books, or (my conclusion) the Jewish or Christian bibles. More or less accurate in their recitation of fact, more or less well written, more or less wise or appropriate as moral or legal codes. But nothing more or less than what one guy (or group of guys) sat down and wrote while Allah was off having a beer with Odin and Moneto.
