"I said: 'Get me President Bush on the phone,'" Olmert said in a speech in the southern Israeli city of Ashkelon. "They said he was in the middle of giving a speech in Philadelphia. I said I didn't care: 'I need to talk to him now.' He got off the podium and spoke to me."
Bush-> Israel's woof woof

Since Israel unleashed its Operation Cast Lead on December 27, at least 918 people, including 277 children, have been killed and another 4,100 wounded, according to Gaza medics. Ten Israeli soldiers and three civilians have been killed in combat or by rocket attacks in the same period and militants have fired some 700 rockets and mortars into Israel.

Fierce fighting?? Looks like more like a duck hunt.

That's why sane people have been saying "stop firing rockets at Israel" for almost a decade now.

Sane people know that you're not. The world can barely hear the vile crys of wolf over the screams of women and children filling thier ears.day by day. They will not heed the Zionist in the days to come and bit by bit the nightmare will pass forever, a streak of excrement on the human memory, and what is most fitting is that they will dance in hell with thier brothers the Nazis.

Well you are in luck DB, zionism is by and large gone in the same way as Colonialism.

That doesn't mean all the desendants of Jewish pioneers and settlers should pack up and leave Israel anymore than the European (and other) settlers to North America are going to pack up and leave.

There were four rockets fired in July, not 3, plus 4 mortars.

The beach shell incident was first apolized for by Israel, then denied when they investigated the facts. No shells were fired into the area where the Palestinian family was. Oddly, the Palestinan ambulance and camera crew knew the shell was coming and were johnny on the spot.

Just the Facts,
You are not just obviously, neither are your facts complete, but defective.

Do you compare the damage done by the Zionists to the houses of Palesinians and killing the hundreds of them and the injury to thousands of them (including children and women) to the mild and trivial reaction of the Palestinians against their attackers?

There is something special for the problem of Palestine: it is so important for the Arabs and the Muslims, to the extent that the one who will liberate Palestine, he will be the chief of the Arabs and the Muslims and will rule over them and be their leader and king. And all the Arabs and Muslims will be united by this man.

Moreover, it is some heavenly decreed condition that will inevitably take its course.

Now all the governments, parties and organizations have failed to accomplish this task, in spite of that they have the truth, and the condition of Palestine is so evidently obvious that the right is with the Palestinians, the Arab and the Muslims.

This will take place, within some near time, and the one that liberate Palestine, and God gives him the easy victory and triumph over Jews and Zionists, will issue from God, and is a devoted servant of God alone and follow the Glorious Quran; to whom the Arabs will submit and give him the sovereignty to be their king; and he will rule according to the Quran judgment.

I supplicated God and said:
"Lord, You see and know (and none may teach You; You are the All-Knowing)!

Lord, the 1.5 billions of Muslims have been overcome by their few millions enemy;

Lord, they have killed the women and children and destroyed their houses on their heads, and cut the electric power supply and the drinking water, and they have become in a miserable condition, how sad is that!

And in spite of their truth and right, they could not defend themselves, neither could the Arab governments nor all the world could do anything to them.

Lord, to You I complain this very sad condition, and my heart is squeezed with sadness and grief!"

Then I consulted God Almighty by the Glorious Quran, and God promised to destroy the transgressors in this aya of the Quran 52: 7-8

إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ . مَا لَهُ مِن دَافِعٍ

The explanation:
(Surely, your Lord's punishment [for the associaters] will inevitably occur.

There is none that can avert it.)

The victory will be for the Arabs and Muslims

If Palestinians want to liberate their country and restore the Remote Mosque (Aqsa) at Jerusalem, they have to abandon the atheism (because many of their educated youths follow the atheism), and abandon the association and the enthusiasm about sheikhs, the prophet Mohammed and his comrades (because many of the Palestinians follow this association and enthusiasm)

When the Arabs and Muslims abandon the atheism, the association and the enthusiasm about imams, sheikhs and righteous men; and follow the Quran judgment; they – then – will be victorious.

Or else they will never be victorious against their abased and lowly enemy who has been set against them as punishment from God according to their enthusiasm and associating the graves of their imams and sheikhs.

The Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims should not follow the Western confusions and atheism; but in order to be victorious, they have to be with God alone without associate, and should abandon the enthusiasm about their sheikhs, the Prophet and his companions, and should seek the assistance of God alone, and He will be with them and give them the victory on their enemy and the triumph over the transgressors, and no one will object and all peoples of the world will rejoice at their victory.

.kl351457a18236893 img{border-color:#222222 } Destruction from Israel's offensive in the Gaza Strip has cost the Palestinian economy at least $1.4 billion, Palestinian officials said. The Palestinian Statistics Bureau said some 26,000 Gazans unable to live in their homes were being housed in emergency temporary shelters.
The bureau estimated that some 20,000 residential buildings had been damaged in Israeli air, sea and ground attacks that began on Dec. 27, and that some 4,000 were totally destroyed.
Surveyors reporting to the bureau said public buildings were also destroyed including 18 schools and university buildings, roads, bridges, power lines and water and sewage pipes.
The bureau put the cost of reconstruction at close to $1 billion, with daily losses of revenues amounting to an additional $420,000. With fighting continuing, it said the final cost could be much higher.
"The Gaza Strip has become a humanitarian, social and economic disaster area because of Israeli aggression," bureau director Loay Shabane said in a statement.
The Palestinian death toll from the almost three-week-old offensive was at least 1,105, with some 5,100 wounded, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza. A Palestinian rights group said about 700 of the dead were civilians.
Thirteen Israelis have been killed, including 10 soldiers and three civilians hit by Hamas rocket fire. ---4 of those Israeli soldiers were killed by friendly fire

What has Israel achieved ?

What has Israel achieved ?

The Globe and Mail today reported that a Hamas offered a ceasefire yesterday, which includes the introduction of Egyptian border control by a third party to prevent arms smuggling, a key Israeli demand. Hamas leaders admitted they had "no other choice".

At the very least 400 Hamas militants, dedicated to the destruction of Israel, are dead, and thousands wounded. Said Siam, the "strongman of Hamas" and leader of Gazan paramilitarys, is dead, as are many of Hamas' highest ranking militants, including the group's security chief and the military commander of Gaza City........and the Israelis aren't even into the city yet.

One could hope that the unfortunate average Palestinian has learned that political support for Hamas is counter-productive at best, suicidal at worst.

Most importantly, Hamas has learned two things: Israel is not a patsy to be kicked with impunity, and the rest of the gov'ts of the Arab street don't give a damn about Hamas, no matter how many protests there are in their cities.

Sounds like a decent 20 days work.

Everytime you speak you insult every reader and destroy what remains of your credibility which is vanishingly tiny. Neo-colonialism is the modern game Zzarchov, get some independent education, you're being used like a tool.

You'd put your own shackles on for your owner wouldn't you? You advise falling to ones knees in the face of oppression, the average Palestinian knows more about freedom than you can imagine.

Just saw on the news......

The Hamas political leadership, at a conference of Arab states and Iran, just destroyed any prospect of success for the cease-fire so carefully negotiated in Cairo by Israel and Hamas militants from Gaza.

Hamas's political leaders have decided Hamas will fight until death or until Israel withdraws (read "surrenders") completely.....thus undercutting the military wing in Gaza.

Hamas' political leadership lives in Damascus. :) :) :)

Oh, and they were practically on their knees in front of their master, the President of Iran.

Regardless, Israel is seen as a murderer by the majority of the world. The SS of the 21st century. Of course by those who support Zionism, the act was heroic. We will see if anything was accomplished other than making the lives of a 1.4 million people even more miserable than the Israelis had already made it.

In addition the Military Wing of Hammas who is doing all the bleeding has supported a cease fire but the exiled leaders in Syria have rejected it.
