Two types of Christians spread through the continent in different ways.

The crown backed WASPS and the Vatican Jesuits.

Little has changed. One is still as white as potato starch and the other assimilated through the races into powerful subgroups..

They are still fighting over control to this very day.

If you want to be more accurate, it was the English who infected the natives of North America with small pox. The Spanish did destroy the civilizations of Central and South America. The French tried to blend in with everybody except the English.
The only religion spread by those Nations was their own form of Christianity, I wasn't implying it was their plan to use smallpox, being used to distribute should have meant some reprisal, their were none.
" In a section on Tribes of the Columbia River region of the Pacific Northwest, James Mooney (anthropologist from the Smithsonian Institution) wrote: "In 1847 the small pox, before unknown among them, carried off a large part of the tribe. The Cayuse, believing that the missionaries were the cause of it, attacked the mission on November 29, 1847, killed Dr. Whitman [a Presbyterian missionary] and thirteen others, and destroyed the mission. As a matter of fact, there seems little question that the infection was brought into the country in supplies intended for the use of the mission or of emigrants temporarily stopping there."
This was originally published in 1896 by the Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C., as an accompanying paper to the _Fourteenth Annual Report (Part 2) of the Bureau of Ethnology of the Smithsonian Institution, 1892-93, By J.W. Powell, Director_. "

It was the RCC in Central/South America take a quick look at Canada and Haiti as to how benign they were.

The Empire of The Hidden Hand has owned christianity since it invented it immeadiatly after the crucifixion following the proven Roman model. I think it's logical to assume the same Crown directing the same operation which is essentially the most important part of the babel project to destroy human communications and retard freer human advancement. Supply and demand. A demand for spiritual answers and an ocean of destructive corrosive answers. Certainly Israel has a right to exist. When has it not existed?

Should have said the English intentionally spread small pox, guess another form of crimes against humanity. No question we accidentally brought new illness's to the New world.

Wonder what we caught from them?

SpadeYou asked a question and I thought this may be of interest to you

http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2010/02/04/benjamin-errett-a-quest-called-tribe.aspx

Who are the Jews?” asked the rabbi at the front of our classroom. “Are they a nation, a race, a culture or a religion?” He wrote those four categories on the board and waggled his eyebrows. We didn’t need the waggle to know this was a trick question. Sarah and I paired off with a lawyer couple and went through the puzzle anyway. Ari and Susan approached the problem methodically. You could see how their sharp legal minds won cases and made their careers. I looked over at Sarah and caught her doodling in the margins of her notebook.“Let’s start with nation,” Ari said. “Obviously, the Jews were around before the state of Israel, so we can discount that definition of the word.”“But there is nation in the sense of a people,” Susan added.“Like Quebec, or like Leafs nation,” I said, in reference to Toronto’s lovably losing hockey team.“Both Israel and the Leafs have a blue-and-white colour scheme,” Sarah said, briefly interrupting her sketch of the visiting rabbi.“But the Israelis win more often than the Leafs,” I added.“Point taken,” Ari smiled. “Now, as for a race, you can’t convert to a race. Plus, there are Jews from Europe, Africa, the Middle east, and so on.”I saw the opportunity to play up my scientific training, and though I remembered less and less with each passing year, I couldn’t resist.“But don’t forget how useful the Ashkenazi Jews are to geneticists, what with all their diseases. Race doesn’t really have a scientific definition beyond having a similar gene pool. Some Jews at least have that.”“Bio-boy over here,” Sarah muttered, perhaps forgetting we were in front of other people. “And don’t forget that if Ben’s mother had been Jewish, we wouldn’t be here.”“How about culture?” I said, quickly moving things along. “The Jews definitely have their klezmer music, kugels and spe-cial brand of Catskills comedy.”“True,” Susan said. “But Spanish Jews wouldn’t understand that and they don’t even make kugel.”“Yes, if you think about food, that one doesn’t quite work,” Ari said. “Some Jews can eat rice on Passover, while others can’t.”“So it has to be religion,” I concluded. “I mean, that’s what we’re here to convert to, right?”“But just because I haven’t been to a synagogue in years, that doesn’t make me less Jewish,” Sarah said. The rabbi told us our time was up and went around the room, taking everyone’s answers and putting check marks under each category. Religion was the clear front-runner, but every category had a few votes.“You’re all right,” the rabbi waggled, “but you’re all missing something.”He then redrew his chalkboard diagram as a web, with religion at the centre and culture, nationalism and race around it. “It’s hard to define Judaism as any one of these, but altogether, we get pretty close.”He then explained that Jews were also known as people the covenant, meaning that they were defined under simple contract law. Was this a talking point designed for the class’s many lawyers? They did seem to perk up for this argument. It began with a brit, or covenant, between the big guy upstairs and the Jewish people. First, we clarify who’s involved here: God is The Almighty, The Eternal One, the one and only deity who controls all of Heaven and Earth. The Jews are defined as a kingdom of priests, a holy people and a race that is to be a light to the nations. (Nations translates as “goyim,” from which the word “goy” derives, from which many Mad magazine jokes derive. It was all coming together.) Under the terms of this contract, God will:Give the Jews the land of Israel as an eternal possession. (at this point I realized that this contract, even if set in actual stone, might not be enough for everyone.)Provide sustenance and protection.Make the Jews numerous. (everything’s relative, but fair enough.)Cause the Jews to endure. In return, the Jews willObey and do God’s will, as outlined in the manual.Seems like a pretty good deal — God has four clauses while the Jews have but one — until you have a look at the manual, also known as the Torah or the Jewish Bible, but not the Old Testament because, while it is both old and a testament, it’s the only one we’ve got. In essence, this explanation defined Torah study as a reading of the fine print. So, the rabbi said, the Jews are the people of the covenant, and that goes back to Abraham. If anyone wants to become Jewish, they need only join the covenant. But how do you do that? Now we were getting to the meat of the matter: how would this year of classes actually make us Jewish? The question quickly turned into an Abbott-and- Costello routine.“How do you become a Jew? By being born Jewish.” He paused here to smile and waggle his eyebrows.“But I wasn’t. How can I become Jewish? By being born Jewish.” Smile, waggle.“But I just told you I wasn’t — now what? By being born Jewish.”That wasn’t even grammatically correct, but he smiled and waggled after it anyway. The point he eventually came to was that you had to be either born a Jew or born again a Jew, and the latter was the only option for all the previously born among us. The concept of being born again was briefly upsetting, for it brought to mind George W. Bush and teetotalling, but the rabbi explained that the concept began as a Jewish one.“It’s like the Jews invented everything,” I whispered to Sarah.“Maybe we did,” she said. “Now shush, this is interesting.”Excerpted from Jew and Improved: How Choosing to Be Chosen Made Me a Better Man by Benjamin Errett. I decided to post this again as many myself included have gone off topic and talking about the past - yes it is important - so is the future.
Does Israel have the right to a State that is free from attacks.

Does Israel have the right to secure borders.

I have seen how threads like this can become a rant and rave - yes I am guilty - I will try to " play nice" as my friend Cliffy reminds me when I get somewhat out of hand - Thanks you Cliffy - We all need that now and again -

So let us see if we can play nicely together and have a decent discussion - difference of opinion -

Do the Arab Countries have to Guarantee this ? If so how can it be enforced -

UN Troops - Useless - Look at Lebanon and the smuggling by Hezbollah - the building of bunkers and rebuilding of strategic points - While the UN can do nothing.

Should Arab Countries accept a substantial number of the Palestinian ( Refugees) I do not consider the vast majority to be qualified as refugees as many of those present today in these camps, the fathers and mothers left Israel on the advice of Arabs that were planning to destroy Israel and murder Jews. The Genocide never happened because Israel won the War.

What will the Arabs do when Hamas, Hezbollah and other extremists - (Terror Groups that want the total cleansing ( by any means possible) of Jews from Greater Palestine)- groups within the borders of Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon attack Israel with rockets supplied by Iran or others -

Who will they arrest these terrorists - Likely answer is No One.

Would you trust Arab Guarantees? Jerusalem - Should it be a divided capital -

If so why - Jordan had the rights prior to the 67 war to Jerusalem and gave the rights up later-
Jordan purged Jerusalem of Jews when to captured part of Jerusalem.

Also - War Crimes have been committed by Both Israeli's and Palestinians -

Well if war crimes were committed by both sides we should still be able to determine the differential of evil. Just hire a reputable counter and have him do some math. Its always been an eye for an eye, most people would blush at demanding a head for every eye.

It was "Christian" missionaries who gave them the blankets, knowing they were infected.
It was "Christian" missionaries who killed the Natives of Central and South America. That included destruction of all their books etc.

I think you need to learn to read.

It was British soldiers, not Christian missionaries.

Put your hatred aside, and learn to read.

The Great Dying happened within the first 100 years of discovery. An estimated 100 million died before most settlers arrived. The first wave was caused by the Spanish invasion of Florida. Also, Cortes sent an expedition to find Eldorado down the Amazon. The priest on that expedition kept records that indicated millions of people lived along the Amazon. The next expedition found almost nobody. The Spanish were responsible for the original Great Dying. Everybody else just tried to finish the job.

It was the RCC in Central/South America take a quick look at Canada and Haiti as to how benign they were.

The first missionaries into the Upper Columbia were Jesuits. Father Des Met wrote extensively about how their use of a smallpox vaccine caused a "great harvest of souls" for the Catholic Church. He also mentioned that conversion to Catholicism was a requirement of receiving the vaccine. Those who refused were left to die. Protestant missionaries came in from the south a little later.

Well, yes and no....if I have the flu, and unknowingly pass it on to you, am I 'responsible'??

No, I don't think so.

Most of the native population died of measles. Believe it or not, the same thing happened on a much smaller scale when they drove through the Alaska highway, just less than 70 years ago.

Mind you, the Spanish enslaved the Indians, worked them to death, and when the church decided they were indeed human, and required the opportunity to become Christians, priests would read out appeals (in Latin!) to repent....and when the natives appeared unmoved, the soldiers would turn their weapons on them...

BUT.....it was also a priest Bartolemew de las Casas, who took up the cause of the Indian and spent his life fighting for their emancipation, with great success.

If the articles I had read said soldiers handed the blankets over I would have said that. As it is I'm not saying it was their plan but the did two things assisted in handing out the infected blankets and taking advantage of a weakened people.

Within 100 years of the arrival of the 'founding fathers' on the continent of America, most of the indiginous population was slaughtered. Their murder took many forms, but among the most insidious were Christian missionaries spreading smallpox among the natives by providing infected blankets, given as acts of generosity and compassion.

As of 1992, of the 298 treaties signed by the US with the native peoples, not one had ever been honoured.
[Source: 'WE WERE THE IRAQIS 100 YEARS AGO' - Opato Matama, Menominee Nation spokeswoman, in testimony to the INDEPENDENT COMMISSION OF INQUIRY INTO THE GULF WAR, February 1992]

"The loss of cultural knowledge aided Christian missionaries' attempts at conversion, as many rituals and sacred bundles fell into disuse when shaman and other elders died."
