Yeah we sure made a killing . Your knowledge of history is either very poor or you intentionally distort the truth to convince others of just how "bad" us yanks really are.

That still does not take away the FACT that many experts are now of the opinion that America was not needed in WWII.

Well BOHICA- Ya all know the drill - Adopt the position.Quote: The United States did not charge for aid supplied under this legislation.
You're being disingenuous. America's businesses made billions.
America in WW2 wasn't bad. America today is fascist. If you don't think fascism is bad that's okay, you're allowed to believe that. We simply differ. Unfortunately you are poorly equipped to deal with differing opinions - the US standard is to hate.
If America was brought into both WW's then somebody else was pulling the strings and they didn't give them up to America any time after. You're being disingenuous. America's businesses made billions.

It's kind of ironic that a thread on Quebec separatism ends up in a quarrel between Brits, Yanks, and English Canadians all of whom have the same origin.
Unlike many people, I just say it as it is. There's no piss-farting about with me.
I've had this discussion many times before that the USA was not needed to win WWII. The Americans have too high an opinion of themselves and their second-rate, trigger-happy, gung-ho soldiers and the truth of the matter is that two huge and powerful empires - the USSR and Britain - did not need America's smaller armed forces to win WWII.
Both Britain and the USSR were quite capable of defeating Germany without American intervention, and would have done so had the US stayed out of the war.
Many historians are in agreement on that matter. If it hurts American pride, tough. America wasn't a large empire like Britain back in WWII.
The USA ... only joined in because of Pearl Harbour.
I thought you said he was stopping the Quebec monopoly. Won't that open it up for western Canada. Matter of fact I thought there is a western cheese producer, isn' t there?

Marshall Plan (European-United States history) -- Encyclopedia Britannica
.... America was only made to appear to be the worst of the worst.
He's breaking their monopoly as in European cheese allowed into Canada free trade agreement....
Yes the west has some cheese too... But the majority of the cheese quotas are in Quebec. It's a big thing for them.
Say you win, why. What have you won? This thread is way off topic- you post lend lease- I posted the Marshall Plan that rebuilt the economies. The Marshall Plan has nothing to do with today's fascist America. Another Colpy argument. Post something that is historically true but irrelevant to the issue, then say, "I win." Pretty sad what some peoples' low self esteem drives them to do. Yankee Go Home.

Each time the US was there. Along with Canada, Australia.
As to politics keeping the US out till the attack on pearl. Just the way it was then.
But the US was the arsenal of the world during WW2.
Liberty ship - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The first ships required about 230 days to build (Patrick Henry took 244 days), but the average eventually dropped to 42 days. The record was set by SS Robert E. Peary, which was launched 4 days and 15½ hours after the keel was laid, although this publicity stunt was not repeated: in fact much fitting-out and other work remained to be done after the Peary was launched. The ships were made assembly-line style, from prefabricated sections. In 1943, three Liberty ships were completed daily. They were usually named after famous Americans, starting with the signatories of the Declaration of Independence.
Takes two to tango, three to psycho.
Hooray for the stars and stripes. What does this have to do with Quebec separatism?
Same as your off topic posts. Tell me oh Enlightened One?
As to the OP. It isn't Quebec that wants to separate, it's the brain dead, whiny separatists.......again.
