Okay. :)

No-o-o-o. Heavy casualties. One of the reasons for the attack was to satisfy Uncle Joe that the western allies were trying, but nothing was possible yet.

You may be thinking of another Campaign. The Dyle, or KW line was hastily manned in May of 1940, east of Brussels

Geezus dude, talking to yourself again.

That space I'm renting in your head is causing you a great deal of issues, lol.

As I've said, we would have won WWII anyway without the Supermen from Canada and American stepping in.

And, unlike Canada and America, Britain has fought a war alone in recent decades and won (as well as all the other times during the time of Empire we fought alone and won).

In your wildest dreams. I doubt if the Falklands (Argentina) is quite as formidable as German, Japan and Italy combined. Please continue on, you are such a barrel of laughs!

The Falklands was a harder fought campaign than commonly acknowledged. Britain has nothing to be ashamed of in that one.
Wake up call for too much aluminum in frigate superstructures worldwide.

A lot of American frigates were suddenly sidelined into the Mare Island Reserve fleet...

Captain - Might I trouble you to estimate Quebecs present debt, portion of federal debt, with the land base of 1867- Take some off for losing Northern Resources that they paid for- only those they directly paid for.

Who would purchase Quebec's Sovereign Nation bonds.
I sense not Junk Bonds, more like Financial Suicide Bonds-
If you- yes we mean you, want to lose everything, buy these Bonds.

Issued by Madoff and sons, Goob...

We are discussing Dieppe, aren’t we? By Canadian standards Dieppe has always been known for high casualties.

High Costs and Critical Lessons
The raid was over by mid-day. In nine hours, 907 Canadian soldiers were killed, 2,460 were wounded, and 1,946 Canadians were taken prisoner— including more prisoners than the army lost later in 11 months during the Northwest Europe campaign of 1944-1945. http://ww.thecanadianencyclopedia.com/articles/dieppe-raid
