Don't leave them in the car overnight......I might leave one in the trunk anywhere, if I happened to be stopping there on my way out of town........don't leave them loaded by the back door either, but when people DID typically have a loaded rifle hanging over the door, home invasions were unheard of........
Did in the story did. You justify it by saying anyone can make a mistake and that no one is perfect like me. How stupid can you get?
OHHH, you live in Toronto. That explains a lot. First of all, it is extremely obvious you don't have a clue what you are talking about.
Yes of course if you live in Toronto, you don't know anything. Sure it's not the reading capital of Canada like New Brunswick, or whatever butthole you live in, but we still try our best to keep up with the times.
I used to be President of a local gun club, and I helped make the damn rules. I was also trainer and range officer for an armoured car company, where I taught people how to use shotguns and handguns to defend their lives........on a "hot" range (where people carry loaded weapons in holster, and draw, shoot and move), and any range I'm running is damned well safe. Out here, away from the imagined centre of the universe, members of gun clubs go there to shoot shotguns and rifles at least as often as handguns. The use of a centre-fire rifle requires a 5 km safe zone behind the target berms........thus a rural address is a prerequisite..........
You know, that's one of the things that just keeps coming back to bust your balls. You constantly underestimate people. Like maybe I don't know what centre fire ammunition is or a "Hot" range. None of it is relevant to the topic. You can bet there are more gun clubs here than the province you live in. Not that it matters.
Not unmanned, and not for anything approaching a reasonable cost, and even THAT couldn't prevent theft...........most gun clubs here have around a hundred members...........I think a million bucks to build your vault is a little over the top.
Because like your gun nut friends who try to save the government money by not registering firearms, you choose not to make it theft proof. If owning guns is too expensive for you, don't own guns. Owning a jet would be a nice hobby but since I can't afford it, I don't own one. I've learned to deal with it, so can you.
Police Chiefs are control freak politicials.....you have heard of Bill Blair, haven't you? I suggest you consider the concept of living in a country controled by him and his buddies.....there is a reason the worst states on earth are known as "police states"
Not really police though are they? No more like a militia I would say. Like what you seem to think the second amendment is all about. Police chiefs are control freaks and that is why we have laws that protect people from them when they abuse their power. Just like the laws that are supposed to help protect people from violent people who get ahold of guns. It's a shame that you feel they aren't worth abiding the law for.
If you had the slightest clue what you are talking about, you would know that I am FAR from paranoid
Are you kidding? You're one of the most paranoid people on this board. You think the suggestion of a trigger lock is the government kicking down your door to take all your penis... I mean guns away. You're sure that someone is just waiting to see you drop your guard to invade your home, rape and kill the wife and kiddies and steal all the god damn guns.
.........I am not the fearful one, you are the one peeing in their panties at the thought someone might have a gun........ I'm sure irrational fear of inanimate objects has a place in the list of psychiatric disorders.......
I'm not scared someone might have a gun in Toronto. Lots of people in Toronto have guns. I am scared of the fuked up violent gangbanger unloading a couple of clips on Yonge St,
again while me or my family is out shopping.
That little piece on the left's scorn of the people they claim to speak for touched a nerve, didn't it??????
The truth hurts.
It sure does, especially when you turn to a left wing idea like public health care, or social safety net when you shyte gets all fuked up. Quietly you go then eh mate? lol
I don't need anyone's "paper" to know I'm more than competent........as is anyone I've trained.
No one gives a shyte what you think you know.
And for the record I don't know of any reasonable person who would want to get rid of all the guns. Just that they are kept out of the wrong hands which the loony wingnut gun happy kooks like you can't even fathom.
Colpy, everyone says your range sucks!
