But the basic premise of anti rights nuts is criminals won't be able to legally aquire their guns if we make it illegal for law abiding folks.

So, if the permit was not valid, it would be HOW DARE YOU defend your self, and save a bunch of lives, by wounding the shooter, so he can face proper justice?

PHILADELPHIA -- A 13-year-old Philadelphia boy who was playing with a gun with several other teens has died after he was shot in the face.
Police say the teens were playing with a gun in the backyard of a home Wednesday evening when the gun went off, striking the boy once in the face.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The boy's name was not immediately released.
Police say they've recovered the gun they believe was involved in the incident.
No charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.

People want to take stupidity out on the guns! Would pitch forks be banned because some idiot stabbed himself with one? NO one wants to take responsibility any more. As long as people persist in acting stupid, sh*t is going to happen!
