I don't know.
I belong to both Canadian groups, but not the NRA.
I'm a member of two wildlife orgs but not any gun club or assoc....yet. The $25 NRA membership would save me a fortune when shopping in MT and ND for ammo and accessories.

I'd assume there are plenty of Canadian NRA members.

Just heard you can now download from the internet 3D plans to build plastic guns, fully functional as weapons and of course no serial #- kind of changes the whole scenario regarding the worry of guns. One dimension we DON'T NEED.

How many bullets do you think a plastic gun will fire before the barrel melts or more probably the chamber explodes?

They didn't say, but they can make some pretty heavy duty plastic these days. I don't plan on building one for myself, so I'm personally not too concerned. -:)

It is also illegal in Canada to manufacture a weapon without a licence .

THAT covers a lot of territory!

Illegal to own an automatic as well. Also illegal to own an unregistered hand gun but that hasn't stopped the criminals. Something about obeying the law they just fail to grasp.

Do you think it's inabilities like that, that cause a lot of them to wind up in jail? -:)

Think my cannon that fires 2 1/2 inch ball bearings might need a licence? Will they require engineered drawings? cause that might be a problem.

Apparently it is required by law????(go figure)........to have some metal in the gun. Probably a metal interior barrel, or just a lump of metal in the handle...........Kinda makes beating the xrays redundant, don't it.

Hell, anyone can make a zip gun............not out of plastic though.

buddy of mine made one which fired .22's. Accurate to 5 feet..........lol.

Funny....works for me.

Her page called me a dirty Canuk socialist, and blocked me.......................go figure.

commie pinko rat, too.
