So why are only some being asked to pay? I see you skirting that issue.

Why can't China pay? India? Russia?

Why aren't they being asked?

You have to understand why private property rights come to existence. Communities allowed private property rights first and foremost to decrease the pressure on commons. If private owners are not able to stop infringing on commons, the communities will nullify the private property rights without asking.

No, you never asked the question. I'm not a mind reader.

Indeed. Why not? Did you even read what I wrote? I said all users should pay. Smarten up.

Toucy touchy...see how emotions get involved with GW truthers.

THE SKY IS FALLING!

Your side kick thinks they should get a pass...most of the alarmist agree...so they say.

You expect me to know? I'm not a consular official. Part of asking good questions is directing them to the right people. Smarten up.

Not really.

Why should I ask when GW is mostly a movement to shakedown big business which I disagree with.

Nope. An easy to implement carbon tax, with corresponding reductions to income tax, capital gains, and other investment taxes. All user will pay, and those who clean up will pay less.

BADDABING...another TAX. It is what spurs the movement.

I don't intend to buy any. I don't believe in rip-offsets. I can see their point of view, but I don't share it.

Then looks like you are part of the problem.

Sure make other people pay...just don't touch your stack of loonies.

Yes, that's about what you sound like.

Got your panties in a bunch though. I must be hitting the right notes.

Remove the tinfoil and join reality. It's not quite as blissful, but it has it's benefits.

Your reality? I think not.

Of course. There are people who get paid decent money to do absolutely nothing but deal with conspiracies. They aren't scientists nor are they govt yet they get to make the call on what they believe and can radically change someone's life based on their opinions.

Any idea who those people might be?
Maybe Al Gore, Michael Moore, CEO's of Dow Chemical, General Electric, Duke Energy, Caterpillar, Exelon Corp., Shell Oil, Exxon, etc.

"Oh, look, someone's discovered pollution is bad, let's figure out how to exploit this."

So seize the property of private owners...return it to the "community" to be represented by the State (I suppose)... a Revolution?

A modern peasant/worker revolution? And then all work work for the greater good...a Worker's paradise established.

Closer to yours than mine.

The underlying goal is to force corporations to pay...to make them neutral.

Then why the push to make them pay?
I don't think so. I think Tonnington is on the same side as me. And that would be on the planet's/humanity's side. And that side would be as opposed to the deniers and the people who want to exploit the other two sides. So I see 3 sides at a minimum.

Toucy touchy...see how emotions get involved with GW truthers.

No, just answering your questions. If your fingers weren't faster than your brain, you might have gotten them out in the right order.

Your side kick thinks they should get a pass...most of the alarmist agree...so they say.
I don't have a side kick.

Not really.
There's that pesky denial again.

Why should I ask when GW is mostly a movement to shakedown big business which I disagree with.
I don't know why you would. But you did. There's a lot of things you say which don't really make much sense.

BADDABING...another TAX. It is what spurs the movement.
No. See you're just too feeble to understand. There's all sorts of ways to achieve the goal. You're just conflating the goal with a solution.

Just like the Truthers.

Then looks like you are part of the problem.
Yeah...I never said I wasn't. You're not that sharp are you?

Sure make other people pay...just don't touch your stack of loonies.
No, I pay too. You had a problem with basic reading comprehension in school didn't you? They make books for people like you.

Got your panties in a bunch though. I must be hitting the right notes.
 You conspiracy nutters...so delusional. I was serious about the standup part smack. You'd do very well!

Your reality? I think not.
You don't think at all.

Those are answers?

I don't have a side kick.

Sure you do...Petros.

There's that pesky denial again.

I am not denying anything. I am just disagreeing.

I don't know why you would. But you did. There's a lot of things you say which don't really make much sense.

You just disagree.

No. See you're just too feeble to understand. There's all sorts of ways to achieve the goal. You're just conflating the goal with a solution.

I see it all too clearly. The GW Alarmists are raging about the globe (In their limo caravans, private jets) trying to get their failing message out before GW goes into the abyss.

Just like the Truthers.

Yeah...I never said I wasn't.

What are you doing then.

We are in a "planetary emergency"!

The planet has a fever!

You're not that sharp are you?

I laugh.

No, I pay too. You had a problem with basic reading comprehension in school didn't you? They make books for people like you.

I laugh harder.

You went out and got a picture for me?

 You conspiracy nutters...so delusional. I was serious about the standup part smack. You'd do very well!

Probably better than you in trying to persuade folks that the earth is dying.

You don't think at all.

You keep coming back.

I cannot be bothered to go back and read all you are all talking about. I just know this thread is called "Global Warming "Greatest scam in history". Well - last winter we all laughed because global warming wasn't happening. It was more (much more) like global cooling. Then summer happened. This part of BC has never seen such warm weather. We had the longest and best summer on record. Today is October 16. Normally it would be on the chilly side by now. Most people would be wearing a light jacket and jeans or something similar. It's been raining off and on for the past couple of days and that's normal for here. It is almost midnight. When I got off work at 10:00 PM I noticed it seemed particularly mild. It was then and still is 14 degrees. It is 11:45 PM! I've been through colder summer nights in other cities. Our plants are getting confused by the weather and they don't know if they should sleep or bloom. It's weird.

Weird changes in climate here too over the past decade or so. But that is one prediction scientists seem to have been dead right about, weird things happening.

We missed our opportunity to save the planet years ago now we all have to live with the consequences.

The ice melted in the North Pole research scientists came back and said that there is one-year ice in most places and the multi-year ice is gone.

In the summer months the North Pole will be a big sea

The carbon tax should be abandoned and all governments should adjust to the new climates that they have created.

The animals DNA is being re-written as we speak to adjust to the new climate change.

According to archaeologist’s records weather patterns and major changes have always been around now it is time for the populations to either adapt to the new climate or just migrate to a more favourable climate zone.

As the South Pole melts the oceans will rise since most of the ice are on land.

Any major populations that live by the oceans should start thinking of moving inland so they don’t get caught in the mad rush later on.

According to a prominent Canadian scientists Dr. David Suzuki stated a couple of years ago on his science TV show that if pollution were to completely stop at once it would take a hundred years to get back to normal.

With the carbon tax under developed countries will still be able to pollute and wealthy corporations will be able to buy credits to keep polluting,

This system is a bad one and will just make money for investors without solving the problem.

The best solution is to adapt or move to a different climate zone.

That's why I live in the Maritimes. Surely to god, the weather will improve with climate change. Maybe more like Cape Cod. I'm about 150 ft above sea level, but I expect my mother's cottage will be gone. I've stocked up on beer already.

Should stock up on supplies to make beer with. Stores better and it would leave some cash left over to buy food.;-)

Not that I believe ANY of the predictions made by the scientific elite, the high priests of the New Religion, as it were.....but:

According to an article I read, the flow south of cold water from melting northern icecap will redirect the northern flow of the Gulf Stream out into the mid-Atlantic before it reaches eastern Canada, preventing its warming influence here and in the British Isles.

In other words, the Maritimes are one of only two places on earth expected to get significantly colder due to global warming.......

Have a nice day. :)

I tell yuh, it's all a scam for a few to get rich on our dime. I have never berlieved it, and never will, No one yet knows the impact, if any, humans have on climate change and just recently, I heard something about the possibility of global cooling, The only thing we know for sure is that we don't know! This whole thing is about money and nothing else. THAT'S the bottom line.
