Ya, so. I've never said I was anything else. What's your point?

Really. So, you believe that a loving God, a God that loves it's children (mankind) unconditionally (have someone look that word up for you), would condemn one of those children to eternal damnation and suffering in a place of brimstone and fire called Hell. Do I have that right?

Got one question for ya. Do you love your children and grandchildren unconditionally, or do you set conditions on your love?

Nah, God don't have a lot to do with it- you really think he's keeping a close eye on 7 billion people? I'll tell you where I stand............God (Mother Nature) sets things up so they'll work and gives us the brain to keep things going. Heaven and Hell are right here on earth and which one we land in has a lot to do with our own making. "God" is more concerned with trends than individuals!

It is supposed to be cooler, that May snowstorm is what they need.

Here is a girl who deserves a medal of some kind. Not saying I would have used some tinfoil but i would have used a lot of tinfoil.

No horse-meat jokes please, I know how crude this place can be.

...just enough to make a sleeping bag wet....
If the fire has moved on why would Ft Mac have to worry about rain. It turns wood ash into an acid that is used to strip hair off a hide that is being tanned. High winds would carry it away and some trees left standing would catch it and then the rain would finish the job.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Rain and snow will help firefighters fight the Beatton Airport Road fire.

The evacuation order has been lifted and residents can return home. The evacuation alert remains in place.

In the latest update posted Sunday morning, the BC Wildfire Service says crews can take advantage of the rain and snow by building additional control lines and mopping up the fire where appropriate.

Saturday the fire grew to 15,000 hectares in size with the stron winds

Moffatt said last week his "ill-conceived" tweet was meant to draw attention to corporate and government inaction on the issue of climate change.

Watching the first tour of the city on CTV right now, apparently Ms Notley is getting her first on the ground look too. They are now saying that 85% of the city is still standing and unharmed. There will be a lot of smoke and water damage. The images are stunning and heartbreaking. They demonstrate the capricious nature of fire. Images of blackened trees looking like match sticks and just a few meters away a row of perfectly green healthy young conifers and green grass. They also speak to the temp of the fire - images of once molten metal that ran down a driveway from a burned out vehicle.

My respect and gratitude to the firefighters in Fort Mac knows no bounds. Everyone of them is a hero and I thank them all for every effort they have made. You make us so proud.

I also wanted to add that I am very impressed with the job Ralph Goodale is doing with his handling of all the information surrounding the fire. He's doing a darn good job of keeping us informed to the best of his ability. I do think he could take a bit of personal time to change his shirt - he's been wearing the same one for two days now.

Ralph Goodale is a good guy. He is one of the few Liberals who I actually respect ... although not always agree.

I doubt the PM could have chosen anyone better to handle this as he comes across as a person who really cares about what is happening and is able and willing to do something about it. He delivers.

I might also add that Ms Notley has risen in my estimation. Tough times for the Premier of Alberta and she has handle it with grace and directness.

SNow in May means climate change IS real Real soon we will have another ice age.

I'm amazed at what I've learned about Alberta in the last year ... that there are NDPers in Albertal

They came looking for the easy money after they destroyed manufacturing in Ontario.
