I'm not saying there isn't anything at all to like about Israel but their actions make it difficult if not impossible to support them.

So just like this thread unfairly demonizes all Muslims for the actions of a few, you should also avoid demonizing all Jews or all Israelis for the actions of the few criminals who currently control Israel.
Wrong....This thread doesn't demonize islam any more than your multiple anti Israel threads... at last count it was over 100 threads that you had started on the subject of Israel since you have been here.
We just post the worst that islam has to offer, only in rebuttal to your anti Israel manic postings.
Here's a Muslim that is not a fanatic....

I can point to many examples of Israeli and Palestinian war criminals. I can also point to many examples of Israelis and Palestinians trying to find peaceful just resolutions to their disputes.

When someone describes a group as if they all behave and act the same way, it usually indicates that person is a racist or a bigot. I can point to many examples of racism and bigotry in this thread.

You support Israeli terrorists that murder Palestinian women and children, with 10x the casualties .

You mean the Israeli "terrorists" that take out Palestinians that attack school buses....

You know, the IDF that causes one tenth the civilian casualties usually encountered in modern war??

I guess you define "terrorist" as "One who refuses to quietly line up for the gas chamber".

The only thing you have done in this thread is tell us what you think we are saying.....which is just your biased extrapolation on anything posted that doesn't fit your view of the world with those Jew hating/ palestinian/muslim apologist blinders you constantly wear.

But, people gotta vent when they are frightened by that which they don't understand.

Are you seriously claiming Palestinians did this to Israelis or are you making up BS?... link please.

If you claim some Palestinians are war criminals, then I agree. If you believe all Palestinians are war criminals, then you are a bigot.

I would not claim all Israelis or all IDF soldiers are war criminals... but some are and here are a few examples of Israeli war crimes:

Attacking civilian infrastructure:
...Physicians for Human Rights Israel said there was "certainty" that Israel had violated international humanitarian law, with attacks on medics, damage to medical buildings, indiscriminate attacks on civilians and delays in medical treatment for the injured. "We have noticed a stark decline in IDF [Israeli Defence Forces] morals concerning the Palestinian population of Gaza, which in reality amounts to a contempt for Palestinian lives," said Dani Filc, the chairman of the pressure group. On one day – 4 January – four medics were killed in two separate incidents...
Under attack: how medics died trying to help Gaza's casualties | World news | guardian.co.uk

Attacking civilians with chemical weapons:
...the IDF air-burst white phosphorus over homes and apartment buildings in the crowded Gaza City neighborhood of Tel al-Hawa, where civilians were living or taking shelter, killing at least four members of one family. White phosphorous shells hit a hospital the same day. Also on January 15, at least three IDF white phosphorus shells struck the main compound of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) in central Gaza City, wounding three people and starting fires that gutted four buildings and destroyed more than US$3.7 million worth of medical supplies....
Witness accounts and additional analysis of IDF use of white phosphorus | Human Rights Watch

UNRWA volunteer narrowly escapes IDF CW attack.
Telegraph

White Phosphorus is a chemical weapon, because it ignites when it comes in contact with human flesh and burns through bones, leaving victims horribly disfigured.

Using civilians including children as human shields:
Israeli soldiers use Jihan D'adush, 11, as human shield,

Jihan D'adush, 11
...He said, "You know the houses belonging to the guys who are shooting at us, and you know which tunnels they are hiding in." I told him I didn't know. He said, "You are lying, and I'll take you to jail..." ...I told him, "What do you want from me. I told you about the house." He said, "Don't be scared, we're with you." He motioned me to come outside. I went down the steps leading to the neighborhood. The soldiers walked behind me. The soldier had his weapon aimed in front of him. He said to me, "Slowly, slowly, don't be scared, we're with you." ....
Testimony of Jihan Nimer Shahir D'adush | B'Tselem

Imagine a group of IDF soldiers forcing an 11 year old girl at gun point to walk in front of them in a war zone to block bullets and trigger booby traps... Care to comment on this Colpy?

How many examples would you like? I can reference thousands of similar examples...

DB, I would agree that current Israeli laws discriminate on the basis of religion and as a result Palestinians suffer injustice and oppression... but that could change if moderate Israelis ever gained control of the Israeli government.

I don't hate anyone or any country. I oppose war criminals and expect that they should be held accountable for their actions regardless of their race or religion. I agree with Canada's policies and laws regarding war criminals and justice. Unfortunately, our laws and policies are not uniformly enforced when it comes to this conflict. I oppose giving war criminals a free pass to commit war crimes just because they are Jewish or Israeli. The reality is that our news doesn't report Israeli war crimes and our leaders don't condemn them. The problem isn't our laws, but our leaders, who have sided with one group of war criminals against millions of innocent civilians.

I am not expressing hatred toward a country, all the citizens of a country or an entire religious group. I believe in being fair and just. When it comes to this conflict, Canada's record is shameful.

Yes you do, and I've proven it.
I support bringing criminals to justice, regardless of their race or religion.
That would explain all the apologizing and justifying of Islamic terrorism you do.

GO, I recommend you try not to paint everyone in Israel with the same brush.
Why? You do it all the time.

Israel is a very diverse country with many viewpoints. Many people opposed to the Israeli government's evil policies of injustice and oppression are Israelis.

I suggest you check out this link:

I agree, and that's how we know you're a bigot, despite your hail mary play, lol.

People don't like bigots.

I agree, I've nbever understood rampant bigotry like EAO's.

Well Israel is not a country as much as a hideout and base for international organized crime. Israel is a vile misrepresentation of ancient natural law and as such an insult to humanity. Innocent civilians do not as a rule occupy the homes and gardens of others after haveing driven the rightful inhabitants into the night. Israel cannot ever be satisfied and to think otherwise leads inexorably to ruin and war. Canada's record speaks to the occupied state of western governments. Not an hour passes on CBC that Israeli innocence is not paraded past our eyes and ears and our national media never tire of interviewing one expert after another from London, New York ,Washington, Jeruselam anyplace but Canada anyone but Canadians. Always always pitching the goddamn poison international f ucking community.

An excellent example of mass stereotyping for the acts of a few. I'm sure there are just as ridiculous examples of mass skulduggery/mayhem being committed by Christians, Sikhs, Hindus, atheists etc.

One thing can be said of the atheists at least: they aren't doing it because they think they need to do it so that they will have a rewarding afterlife. That is probably all that can be said on the matter, because people will find some lunacy to adhere to, spiritual or otherwise. Part of the whole point of (generalized) atheism is the idea that this life alone is precious. Suicide bombing seems profoundly stupid with that belief.

Similarly, the war over the "holy" land. I don't get it. It is a strip of dirt in an inhospitable part of the world. People that look the same kill each other because their parents taught them the others believe in the wrong imaginary friend. The only important difference being that the most powerful military in the world protects one side from any sort of international culpability, right or wrong.

Atheists commit atrocities, sure, but atheism is never the reason for it. Lots of atrocities have been committed in the name of religion. To me this thread is strange because I wonder why Islam gets the special attention.
