All political and military leaders, who have been responsible for starting wars, should be put on trial, no if ands or buts. No, there never should have been a trial.

They should have all taken them all to US, Britain, Canada and Russia and given high profile jobs working in the best labs, and R&D facilities? No, there never should have been a trial.
''One of the biggest mistakes the west ever made, the Nuremburg Trials.''
The mistake was in not enforcing it on an uniform basis against all who impose depredations upon innocent people.
I thought many of them were. Oh, you forgot the CIA.They should have all taken them all to US, Britain, Canada and Russia and given high profile jobs working in the best labs, and R&D facilities?
Those in America who funded Hitler and the mazing science that forever changed our world were fully aware they'd be bring it all home post war and profit twice on the invesment.I thought many of them were. Oh, you forgot the CIA.

Nothing, our first message of opposition was at Dunkirk. And Canada did what again to prevent Hitler from coming into power? Even more involved than we were. ("Peace in our time")

Why would he have to? You're posts speak for themselves on the matter...At least you didn't waste any time proving your opening point.
Like that gem.My condolences to your Uncle, however Dunkirk is a much bigger act of resistance that the world would recognize as being mostly Canadians who died. Is that where your fanatical support for Israel comes from no matter what acts the commit?
BTW Dunkirk was a year earlier, nice (not) to know you take all those Canadians as being not worth remembering compared to a single relative of yours being killed. Nor have you admitted that if Isreal counts people in shock and suffering anxiety as casualities then the casuality list in Gaza is approaching 1.5 million.
Totally true though, Israel counts being scared as being a causality, that would mean any Palestinian who was scared at any time in operation Cast Lead is a causality. The gem is there because they put it there. What was their old story for the people of Gaza, if there weren't with Hamas already they eventually would have so it is fine that they die before that event happened.Like that gem.

" During Operation Cast Lead (27 Dec 2008 - 18 Jan 2009), 571 rockets and 205 mortar shells landed in Israeli territory. Magen David Adom personnel treated and evacuated a total of 770 casualties: 4 fatalities, 4 severely wounded, 11 moderately and 167 lightly wounded. An additional 584 persons suffered from shock and anxiety syndrome.
The same one that thinks the RCC has no leaven in the upper ranks? That Grumpy??Keep proving Grumpy right.
I don't care what else he thinks about that. He's been proven right by you, on his assessment about the crap in this forum. The same one that thinks the RCC has no leaven in the upper ranks? That Grumpy??

When a person is listed as a 'causality' does it matter if they are in Israel of Gaza. I would think one term covers both groups.I don't care what else he thinks about that. He's been proven right by you, on his assessment about the crap in this forum.
Mhz, the thread is about Iran. When a person is listed as a 'causality' does it matter if they are in Israel of Gaza. I would think one term covers both groups.
Whoops, my bad, that is the battle that popped into mind.A history lesson:
Ahhhhh.....there were no Canadians as such at the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940.
I thought, in my original reply, you were talking about DIEPPE, in 1943, which was the FIRST major deployment of Canadian infantry against the Germans.
Therefore my uncle, and the air forces arrayed against Germany in the years 1939-43 were the earliest Canadian participation against the Germans.
Which was my point.
