I doubt that the yanks would invade Canada and risk getting their little white shack torched again. That's assuming any of them ever read a history book.
Why wouldn't I want to know that, if that's what you think of the idea? That wasn't that bad.

You got me all wrong. Please don't think innocent joke comments are, like, taunting or something. Light-hearted banter involving Canada/US relations seemed appropriate for this thread.
Huh? I've lived in the States and while I found it to be quite nice, and the people pleasant, why would I want to be annexed? I like being Canadian. We may be similar but we aren't the same and I like being Canadian. I have no problem living besides the States, but I prefer to remain a citizen of a sovereign Canada, thank you.

Annexation? You might get a more favourable response if you used the term "union." But no, I don't think being part of a semi-fascist state would be of any benefit to Canada. Thanks to Canada's geographic proximity to the US Canadians are already Americanized enough.
