Just watched this Azz hole on Question Period, interviewed by Peter Newman of CTV.

This jerk, who made a speech on behalf of a charity event, only said he would with them (the charity) to make it right.. Wtf does that mean???, it means he's not going to give it back if he can avoid it.

When the interviewer said he also gives speeches but he NEVER charges for a charity event. When he asked jerk head, if he would do the same, he only repeated that he would make it right... Yeah yeah jerk head !!!

This jerk head only got invited to speak because the Canadian taxpayer is paying him because he is a Lib leader. Now this jerk head is using the taxpayer as a stepping stone to pocket money for himself.. What an idiot!!

Any MP paid by the Taxpayer should not be charging charities to help them out. They are already paid by the taxpayer!! Once is enough!!
You have to stop being so nice in your posts. I mean really let it all out.
Ya know it was for an Easterner Charity.

Durry, if you had read anything about this topic, you would know that Trudeau broke no laws by giving a talk for a charity fundraiser who offered money for his services. You should also know that Trudeau has agreed to return his rightfully earned fees. I'm repeating myselt here and as usual you are ignorant of any facts in the topic

No, it is you who is ignorant.
He did NOT say that he would return all the money outright. He only said he would work with the event to make it right.. Watch the program before you start making accusations !!

Plus he broke the ethics law of helping charities, next we will see him taking candy from babies..

The link is to the individual heart and generous nature! The Libs do not have such a link, only one to line their pockets from charities. Btw, we never did get that $40million back from the Sponsorship scandal !!

Technically you're absolutely correct. On the same note, the local plumber can profit from a non-profit if it hires him to fix its plumbing.

Thanks for posting the obvious.

PS - The plumber isn't a sitting MP or running to lead the nation

There ya have it.

So, with that move in mind, do you now believe that baby-t may begin to understand that accepting fees to speak may not be in his best political interests?

Especially as it relates to the senior demographic?

How many MP have companies that earn them income while they play their role in Ottawa? Is that bad too?
Those are supposed to be in a trust are they not. Or are they exempt?
Both house are full of corruption. Did you take the 10 minutes to listen or even skip thru the radio clip?

No,not trust. You just can't use your position to better you business.

Leaves it wide open for abuse.
Hard if not impossible to monitor for corruption.
And on the other side of the coin they had that business before they were elected.

So they should give up their business if MPs?

That is a tricky question but I would say no. Should rules be in place - yes- But what rules I am far from qualified to answer.
And speaking engagements, with large fees is not a business for an MP.
Small fees, expenses, honorarium - Yes. I am OK with that.

But listen to the babbler and you see how both sides cover each others a-s-s and the corruption continues.
Just because he leans heavy to the Cons does not equate to not having information that is useful in making a decision.

Apples and ponies there man.

Harpo ain't a handsome man. He's rather pasty and puffy. A no-mance there I'm afraid.
