Harper is far more repressed than Trudeau, if anybody is a closet case in federal politics it's probably him. It could be just one more closely protected secret in that fortress of solitude that passes for the PMO these days.

However, in 2004 PM to be Harper, along with the rest of the ' Calgary Conservative Citadel', didn't say boo when a highly respected Calgary LAAS firm was sold down the river in the Titsucker battles over Canada's refusal to aid GWB's missile shield.
Is that CYNICAL or what?

I pay much closer attention to what goes on in Canadian politics than most people and other than putting royal back into our alarmed farces and his misguided war on drugs I don't see much Harper has done wrong. He has a lot of years of bad Liberal policy to undo. Fixing the long gun registry was just one of the important repair jobs he accomplished.
