In other words, I just read a string of posts that say "I'm not Christian."
You really shouldn't say that in Texas. As far as we all know, either you are Christian or Jewish. Both of those are OK, but it is very risky to say that here. People wouldn't kill you, but suddenly, you'd have the worst BO on the planet. Anyone within a hundred miles would gradually evaporate and/or move away from you. It is not a topic which we discuss in polite society.
Uncle
So what you're saying is Texas is full of intollerant people?
You keep away from those who are different from you?
Anybody who is not Jewish or Christian isn't good enough for your standards down there?
I'm not trying to attack you with these questions, I am just expressing how it sounds to me when I read what you posted. From what I read so far, everybody moves away from you like you're satan himself if you don't follow one of the two religions you spoke of above. They'll pretty well cast you out of the community if you don't agree with their beliefs or views
Doesn't sound very Christian to me.

As it goes for things you can't say in Canada.... well, that depends on what it is... publically talking about molesting or beating your kids would be one thing..... I dunno.... it's gotta be pretty bad.
But in response to Colpy's comments on the Valley area folk..... there are cases of that occuring there.... that doesn't mean it's a thing talked about everyday in Tim's like a normal thing. It happens, but it certainly not brought out in the public and normally kept under wraps as best as possible.
