As someone who's majority of friends reside stateside, who has witnessed American patriotism first hand and who has nothing but respect and appreciation for the blessing of knowing these folks, your post IMO was spot on.
I love Canada, have no intention of leaving her, and am thankful to have all that this country has provided for me and my family. With all that, I do not hesitate to stand arm in arm with my American brothers and sisters not only because we are different but because we are the same.
I really do love Canada. It's just different enough from the US to be interesting, but not so different as to be scary. :happy5:cute avatar Unc - is that your cat?
