Its safer because we create laws to make it safer.

This is what our cities want to do.

Yeah, I put him on ignore again.

I really hate doing that, but he has made a half dozen posts since his return, none of which were remotely significant.

Just trolling, as he always does.

I would say Montreal is the real driver of the gun ban movement.

Toronto is not far behind.

On Monday, city council unanimously adopted an opposition motion asking the re-elected Liberal government to ban those weapons, prohibit their importation and manufacture, and enforce the ban.

“We were very happy to see that the administration supported us,” said Ensemble Montréal Leader Lionel Perez, who proposed the motion.

“We believe that it reaffirms Montreal’s leadership across Canada on this issue,” he said.

As Prime Minister Justin Trudeau unveiled his cabinet Wednesday, naming former Toronto police chief Bill Blair as minister of public safety and emergency preparedness, Heidi Rathjen of Poly Remembers called on other cities to adopt similar motions asking Ottawa not to dump responsibility for banning handguns on municipalities.

More laws don't mean less crime....

A constant increase in crime despite more and more laws restricting legal gun ownership!

Well I guess there are two of us in the country who realize that! Any laws that aren't enforced should be taken off the books and every time a new law is enacted two old ones should be removed.
