That's funny because...

https://www.nasa.gov/feature/goddar...ns-of-antarctic-ice-sheet-greater-than-losses

A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.

The research challenges the conclusions of other studies, including the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) 2013 report, which says that Antarctica is overall losing land ice.

According to the new analysis of satellite data, the Antarctic ice sheet showed a net gain of 112 billion tons of ice a year from 1992 to 2001. That net gain slowed to 82 billion tons of ice per year between 2003 and 2008.

1 tonne is 1 CBM of water. There is 1,000,000 CBM in a cubic KM. 112 Billion tonnes would equal 11,200 cubic km of frozen water.

Holy f-ck!

Yep.
Antarctica loses three trillion tonnes of ice in 25 years

I wonder where it all went. It couldn't have melted could it?

Perhaps I would have been more accepting of your source if you had quoted George Soros or provided a link to National Enquirer.

Yeah has sora$$ got his billion dollars back which he lost after trump was elected, ( and hiltlary was NOT) and is he happy with his multi million dollar investment in the fakenews NY times?

LOL, the brits seem happy with his recent losses after what he did to the British pound.
:)
I think they enjoy his ( LOL, YOUR) misery as much as Poland and Hungary do.

But still growing none the less contrary to ecofascist gospel.

Are you a muddy gened, globalist, climate propaganda accepter?

Growing? Yes when a cold climate warms it often gets more snow. Antarctica is as dry as the Sahara in terms of annual precipitation. But if it warms up a little it will almost certainly get more snow. You can see the phenomenon on a local basis if you compare precipitation on the Prairies to snowfall in Ontario or BC. Both of the latter are warmer than the Prairies and both get a lot more rain and snow. Precipitation is also increasing in Greenland, but it is melting away faster than it falls.

In any case, increased sea levels are not a good thing, especially for coastal regions.

I think you need some more research into the source of snow and the conditions it falls in B.C..

Climate change is a fraud no doubt. That doesn't mean there aren't issues regarding pollution which is entirely different and which some argue here is related to climate change. The two are entirely different issues. We do have issues with pollution; look at the plastics found in our oceans is one off the top of my head. The other issue is the spreading of our cities, using up good agricultural land and forest that would affect wild animals - that is an issue and has nothing to do with climate change. Our cities need to spread up and not out so that good agricultural land can be used for crops.

Might I mention we likely have enough food to feed the world; unfortunately, those who are starving don't necessarily receive it due to the corruption of governments and military who don't give a damn as long as their stomachs are full! Just sayin'

10,000 of adding more than melting. Is that coming from oceans or freshwater on land as global warming turns everywhere into desert?

I might amend that to 50% and 50% stupidity.

That's not the point of the article. What is the point is that as Antarctica melts the sea level is rising. And as the sea level rises more melting is likely.
