You can't rescue those birds with a bottle of Dawn.

On the upside, the Dawn is excellent for washing off all the blood from the bird choppers.

It really does work!

When did Alberta get tarsands? Must be just this year or we would have heard about them by now.

No taxslave, it's true.

Tarsands, when in tailings ponds are vicious ~ it actually forms razor sharp blades and slices up the birds in mid flight

FACT - Just ask BS

Sorry, I am at a loss when it comes to answering stupid questions.

In addition to the number of birds and other organisms fossil fuels kill, the carboniferous poisons are also pretty good at killing people. I wonder how many people die due to wind and solar power generation.

From the article:

it looked at the effects of air pollution, or air contaminated with things like gases and the burning of wood, charcoal and coal; water pollution, which includes contamination by things like unhygienic sanitation; and workplace pollution, where employees are exposed to toxins and carcinogens like coal or asbestos.

Nope, nothing about oil/gas mentioned.

... But thanks for submitting the confirmation of your perpetual fails

Apparently you have a problem interpreting the obvious. What do you think the words "air pollution" refer to in your quote? I realize that you specialize in the sticking-your-head-in-a-hole-in-the-ground philosophy of dealing with an issue or you would realize how laughable your attempt to excuse the fossil fuel industry is.

Maybe this will help you out. Feel free to criticize the source - it is from the oil industry.

And then there is this one. Note that both articles entirely confirm my point and your failed attempt to refute it.

Statistics don't really bear that out. England has been burning coal to heat homes for centuries and yet their life expectancy is only one year less than Canada's and they have a shittier climate too.

How many birds and other organisms died when the oil was floating around naturally before the first pit was opened for extraction? Or haven't you heard that the Oilsands were discovered after being pointed out by First Canadians that oil was seeping up from the ground like Jed Clampent hunting for food one day on the Hillbillies?

They used it to seal their canoes for millenia.

Statistics don't really bear that out. England has been burning coal to heat homes for centuries and yet their life expectancy is only one year less than Canada's and they have a shittier climate too.

The Brits gave up burning coal for home heating decades ago and switched to natural gas. This change was prompted by the deadly killer fogs that hit London in the 1950s, fogs caused by burning coal.

Somehow I don't think the tar sands were deliberately set on fire. Your response makes no sense.

You post stupid all the time.

I note that despite your billaince you have never been able to prove me wrong. Troll on twit - it's all you are good for,

And yet, the sources you quote are still not oil or gas.

You really are a hoot.... Sad and pathetic, but a hoot nonetheless.

Keep trying. I'm sure that is what big oil pays you for. Meanwhile you can enjoy watching the growth of green energy and the development of more efficient automobiles.

Nice.

Aren't you glad SO2 has been cut immensely?

I was disappointed with the limited availability of Florida citrus this spring thanks to global warming last winter.
