no - what's ironic is you presuming to suggest irony. Don't you guys... and gal... get tired of the same ole, same ole, day after day? Where you simply throw down your presumed clever unrelated-to-the-OP one-liner quips... possibly inter-mingled with some silly-assed graphic (also unrelated-to-the-OP)? Of course, within that distraction one can usually read a lot of 'high-fivin, back-slapping, hee-haw' insults directed at other members you choose to collectively label "lefties". It's too bad you... righties... can't elevate your game!

Well, yes, actually. But it beats hell out of incessant "Harper is the Antichrist" whining.

The good news is that we can rely on you to never, ever be clever.

resist! Reading some of what you post, I actually think you want this board to be... more. Break-up the clique! Be all you can be - I know you can do it, if you just... do it!

I appreciate you guys... and gal... like how your clubhouse runs! But, here's a thought: when thread after thread loses sight of what thread OPs were intended for, do you think that encourages real related discussion and attracts/keeps members interested in meaningful dialogue/exchange..... or does it simply reinforce your personal clubhouse doesn't appear to have any enforced rules against purposeful thread derail/distraction?

If threads didn't get derailed from time to time they would probably all end by page two. View this as a neighbourhood pub, not the toronto debating club.

Why? I like the clique.

Be all you can be
Sorry, I was Air Force.

Depend on it that the fact that you want it raises a presumption that it's stupid, poorly-reasoned, OCD lefty twaddle.

then I'd suggest you haven't been on enough forums. There's a couple of U.S. political forums I drop in on occasionally... in those, moderation actually works to keep threads on topic... and those threads can span dozens of pages... hundreds even. Of course, one way these forums succeed is to encourage unrelated thread discussion to target lounge-type forums.

Your thesis being that this forum is under some obligation to be like other forums?

Wow, are you typical of Canadian Liberals?

no obligation to be anything. Why are you stifling my freedom of expression? Freedom! Isn't that what you Merkins preach?

Hundreds of separate pages of American politics. How is that possible with what must be the shallowest moronic material ever penned by pseudo humans. Are you pro or anti abortion? How about gun laws? Obanana Care? Spreading democracy? The Islamic threat?

Northern Ontario,
You mean the way we continue to talk around his posts and carry on as we were? Like that?

Because honestly if you or Bear didn't bother with him, the poor guy would have no one to talk to at all.
Yep....He just another agenda troll....
If the whole forum was just Harper bashing and global warming ditto heads....he'd be a real happy puppy:lol::roll:

Have you noticed the people who whine the most about not having discussions are the most likely to post in manner which is the antithesis of actually promoting discussion?

good for Harper. Now if he'd back up those words with a little bit of military procurement. There's more to it than tough talk. That said, he did go up a notch in my books.

It must hurt pretty bad that Harper from wee little Canada stood-up and spoke his mind.

Let us know when you Aussies plan the full scale attack on Moscow, I'll see if I can get Trudeau to send your force some nice comfy, warm jackets and toques.

Doesn't hurt at all.... But you didn't answer the question you quoted.

What did this political stunt accomplish for Canadians to warrant it being a feather in our cap?

That can be said about the NDP and or the liberals too , Harper is no exception.

Oh and almost forgot .... Obama

Yup hypocrites abound.

Any other pictures you want to try and scrounge from the internet?

I have absolutely zero emotion towards this thread, its topic or Harper himself, therefore I am not upset or angry.... I'm merely stating my position and my honest view towards Harper and his ability to be a half-decent Prime Minister. If what I write comes off as angry, upset or emotional, then that's your problem not mine.

Take it whatever way you want. Like neg reps from Walter, I truly don't care what you or anybody else thinks.

I don't come in here for pats on the back or to seek approval from you or anybody else.

don't you guys... and gal... have a sandbox to play in within the "members lounge"? Why the burning desire to throw down trivial unrelated one-liner quips and images in threads... and distract/derail threads? Wassup with that?

I guess because the Mods do it, the regular members will follow.

Kinda pathetic when a mod gloats to what seems to him as an angry post, I am sure if your comment was about JT or Mulcair he would be patting you on the back.
He shows more anger in his postings but he will deny it.
