He's been very vocal about Crimea and Ukraine. So he acts like a man when meeting Putin face to face instead of taking the usual photo op handshake and its electionism? Some folks can't be swayed even a little when it comes to Harper I suppose. It's easier to be a hater.

But he did take the photo op handshake... His own words. If he wanted to be some tough guy and was truly upset over Ukraine then he wouldn't have done the handshake in the first place, told him to gtfo of Ukraine or face the consequences, flipped him the bird and then told him to get the fuk out of his face.

I have supported Harper in a couple of things over the years when I think he or his party made the right decision or action, but for the most part, he has to be one of the worst PM's I have seen in my entire life. Political Colours mean little to me, hell when I was a kid, I liked Brian Mulroney

Why are you so obsessed with Harper? Does he have a restraining order against you? 50 or 100?

I merely think he's a sh*t Prime Minister and people are fluffing this one-liner as being something special and more than what it really is.

If the Conservatives got rid of him for a new leader, I wouldn't give two craps if the Cons remained in power for another 30 years. Harper has few good traits, a twisted little man who has little understanding of how Canadian Democracy works and has no real understanding of what the nation needs or wants.... And while he boasts about the Canadian Military and how he supports it and wants to help make it better and stronger, he fuks over our Vets and those who made the sacrifices for our nation and our people.

He's a hypocrite, two faced, lying sack of sh*t with the personality of a valium drugged ostrich.

I don't forgive or forget many things people do and Harper has pulled way too many stunts over the years for me to forget or to forgive. And this little political stunt for the upcoming elections sure as sh*t ain't going to make me forget any of it.

With all due respect of course. (which is none)

dat look

Is it just me, or do these costumes look like the came from a Star Trek set?

Oh yeah a feather in Canadian's caps.

Exactly what did this accomplish for Canadians?

It must hurt pretty bad that Harper from wee little Canada stood-up and spoke his mind.

Let us know when you Aussies plan the full scale attack on Moscow, I'll see if I can get Trudeau to send your force some nice comfy, warm jackets and toques.

How come Putin gets a gold thingy and Harper doesn't?

And basically NOBODY does ANYTHING with the panache of Patrick Stewart. Did you see his ice bucket challenge?

I expect there's all manner of "up-front and personal" between leaders at some of these closed-door meetings. What's different here is this only came to light because of a spokesperson from Harper's PMO bringing it forward. Now, tell me, why would a PMO rep do that... for what purpose/intent... and then only release the part about what Harper said? Of course, given the media hype that resulted, the Ruskies come back, confirm the event, and add in their half of the exchange as to what Putin said in replying to Harper.

do you think this juvenile PMO move helps to counter the image of Harper hiding out in the closet... particularly in how the orchestration of it blew up on them after the Russians responded to the media themselves?

Why are you so obsessed with Harper? Does he have a restraining order against you? 50 or 100?

that's a laugh! Perhaps you should do a tally of all the pro-Harper members/posts... or their anti-Opposition leader posts... and get back to be about "obsession"!

I'm far from being upset

heh,

↓ (not mad)
Pfft... I will always and forever remember Harper as the guy in the closet.

har...still mad at Bush even though he has nothing to do with Harper's comment.
And they never will just as Bush couldn't shake off the flying shoe at his head being one of the final big mockery's of his presidency.

'not' mad :p
because he's a chicken sh*t who only has words and no action.

nope, not mad or even resentful...nope.
But hey, I suppose his so-called one liner at Putin excuses everything else he and his party has done over the years, it also magically unifies the nation and makes us all want to hold hands and it also somehow magically stopped global warming

Yes, let's all praise and bow before the glorious leader for telling Putin to get out of Ukraine. He sure showed him

shine a light up Harper's azz
