He wouldn't like to hear what I call Global Warmists.
It's OK, he never will. You are less than the dirt beneath his feet to His Royal Altitude.
Yes, there is. I'm a denier and always will be.
And there you have it, folks. The Political True Believer. He makes decisions on an emotional basis, and then will ignore all new information, disregard all facts, and reject all reasoning. And studies show that he'll choose his church, his home, and certainly his media on the primary criterion of reinforcing his views and never, ever presenting new facts or rational arguments.
Classic Fox or MSNBC watcher.
See, I'm not big on global warming either. The modelling is imprecise and nowhere near comprehensive enough, and nowhere near enough to spend tons of money on, especially since that money could be spent on ameliorating known and proven pollution threats, which would work an immediate benefit AND, as an extra benefit, ameliorate global warming if it actually exists. I pay attention, and judge global warming on certian principles (data sufficiency, repeatability, validity, and predictions). Blackload, as I said, is interested in none of those things. He craves certainty above all else, and no amount of proof will ever shift him from his foreordained conclusions.
And that, kids, is the difference between a conservative and a right-winger. And between a liberal and a left-winger.
As for Charles, whilst he has many good views, such as on architecture, he has been a rabid enviroMentalist for many years and thus, like every other enviroMentalist, is very gullible and impressionable when it comes to all things climate. He believes everything he is told about "climate change" and finds it very difficult to see through the Great Global Warming Scam.
As for the floods on the Somerset Levels, as with so many other things that Warmists like Charles blame on "climate change" it was not long before the REAL cause of the floods was discovered.
Rather than caused by "climate change", as Charles and the other impressionable environMentalists believed (and demand we believe), the floods were actually caused by the river not having been dredged for several years. Under the National Rivers Authority rivers were regularly dredged but are now less so after it became the Environment Agency in 1996.
So it's not "climate change" which has caused the Somerset Levels floods, as the environMentalists told us in no uncertain terms. The cause was lack of dredging.
It's back to the drawing board for the enviroMentalists.
As Iain Liddell-Grainger, the Tory MP for Bridgwater in Somerset says: "This was not a freak of nature. This was an act of criminal negligence."[/QUOTE]
