Excellent!
Excellent!
So succinct. I admire that quality. As told in some old story book written by old men many hundreds after the supposed act happened.
Yes, so much has to be compared, researched and some common sense ~ along with a sense of awe for the whole magnanimity of the omnipotence of the creation of Universe, heavens, and all. (of course so many have worked on this and still in progress, process) Inexhaustible possibilities, but lovely to find some more enlightenment.t is all the more difficult perhaps, because the effort is usually made to read it in the single form in which it is found in the Christian Bible, where it is condensed from earlier Babylonian epics, such as the Gilgamesh story, the Berosan Akkadian version, and the Bundahish and Zend-Avesta accounts. It needs a comparative study of the Bible narrative along side of these other sources to gain inklings of meaning not indicated in the abbreviated story in Genesis.
Genesis is not at all the creation of the world and man!
Briefly, it is a suggestive delineation of creative process in general. It is a graph or dramatic hieroglyph of life and growth as it ever takes place.
And here at once we are faced with a most incompetent translation. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
"Out of (their) primordial Being the Elohim engendered spirit and matter." To paraphrase it a little more elaborately, it might be put: "From out the depths of Infinite Being the Elohim formed the upper and the lower ranges of life." The upper and lower worlds, or heaven and earth, in ancient typology definitely connoted spirit and matter, for the upper are spiritual and the lower are material. The straight idea is: From the head source of Being the creative powers created life in its two aspects of spirit and matter.
And that seems to be the underlying core of your fear. You fear you have female qualities (which all do by the way). Just as women will have some male traits. It is normal, for all are in the image of God or a creator. If God is a hermaphrodite then so, too, would Adam have been, because he - even his GENDER - was an EXACT image of God.
This is why Woman is not as exact image of God.
So what? Do all men have to love women? There is a view today that all men have to love all women, even the billions of women they don't know, and if they don't they "hate women" (as though hating women is bad). I don't know where this (very recent) view comes from, but it's a disturbing one. So what if he preferred males to females? He was probably just gay.
Yeah. The only difference being I get criticised for "misogyny", yet misandry by those very same women on here who are only too quicky to attack "misogyny" whenever they see it goes unpunished. Except when I see it, of course.
How does lightening up and enjoying life excuse misandry? While you are at it you can work on mysogyny as well. And excuse misandry?

If she'd started an OP on it, I'd see your point. Alas, she was just taking a jab at a misogynist thread, which makes you look every bit the **** for getting bent out of shape for her comment.
He wasn't bent out of shape over her comment before he'd made his own rather stupid comment and got called out on it. From that point on it was all about pointing the finger somewhere else.
Which stupid comment are you referring to- he made so many.
Neither are women. When was the last time you and your girly mates all attended a self-control class?
Women are deformed men. And less intelligent on average, too.
Men might today come from women, but so do other women. And you make it sound as though woman is some miraculous creature and that only she alone can produce another human. Those with a bit of commonsense know that this is a load of nonsense, as a woman has not a hope in hell of producing another human being without a man's sperm. It takes two to produce a child, both female AND male. The woman merely nutures it in her womb. But it takes BOTH male and female to produce another human being.
And remember that, as a whole, originally, Woman comes from Man.
Man, though, comes from God. Woman cannot have been created in God's image as the first human, Adam - a MALE - was created in God's image, including him being a male (Adam was EXACTLY in God's image, so God is male. And we also know God is male, because Jesus was). The fact that Adam was a male shows that God Himself sees himself as male. A woman being female means she cannot have been created in God's image, as she does not have God's maleness. She is not the exact image of God.
That would be this one.
Um, God needed Mary to create Jesus.
Hence God and a woman work just fine without a male body to make another male body.
Oh, my, more evidence that women are the image of God and create all earthly humans
Do you not see that you can't win when it comes to WHO gave you life and what image
God is both male and female or a combination.
Otherwise only men would have been created and a male womb and --- or maybe just a man, and a whole bunch more men being grown out of their ribs, like some sci fi movie.
Women have BIRTHED all humans.
I believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster created spaghetti in its own image. A little voice inside my head told me so.You sound like you actually heard the deity speaking, which is not uncommon in the lower scorers.

The French Patriot seems to ignore the law of polarity. The miracle of life requires the good and the bad, they are not separate things, and life as a meat bag is not the end product of genesis, it is the beginning. The good requires the bad, this is how we grow. A heap of dung is home for delicate flowers.
And Christians applaud that genocide which all with intelligence here will agree is rather sick.
