Gun control: I would hope that if you have a gun in your hand, that you are in control of it (and your hand). They are dangerous in the hands of spastics.

They work EXACTLY the same way.
They fire EXACTLY the same ammunition.
They are fed from EXACTLY the same type of device, availible in 5, 10, or 20 round versions.
So they would prohibit the top one (as it is in Canada) for no other reason than appearance. That is it.

Calm down Bluebyrd, you never want to let emotions blur the facts. This discussion about gun control will go on forever but there is no pat answer. If you ban guns, people are still going to get killed or injured, gun violence will decrease but axe, knife and bomb violence will increase. When a person really wants to kill you, they are not particular about the weapon. The problem I have with banning guns, it deprives the majority of people who use guns for a much more benign purpose, while doing nothing to deter the criminal.
