In a bizarre way.......the event is a "gift" that just keeps giving.

One of the most manipulative tactics is for the leadership...(regardless of persuasion) to talk about healing and yet doing everything it can to keep the wounds open as that way.....the leadership with the support of the population can go on an extended , indefinate war mission that has little or anything to do with "terrorism'

Another tragedy-part of the fallout - is keeping the population under the control of fear and therefore very hesitant to question any aspect of the event.

And THAT folks is NOT in any way AMERICAN..............as one of the finest and most progressive traits of the american society , culture is the fact that it did not follow the party line and was very aggressive at pursuing the truth. A very admirable trait.......which for all intents and purposes has been discouraged to ;the point that to question anything about political events or the gov't decisions is now considered anti patriotic. That is going as extreme as never seen before in the west.

Of course not. In a truly free society that is not even a factor. What has happened here is a fantastic psych operation on the population ;itself. (by the G. and the media doings it work for it.)

It has become "unpatriotic" in many minds to question what they are told. Those that do try to dig deeper or bring forth very relavent questions that have not been addressed are doomed to be branded un patriotic or "terrorist " supporters.

If the questions get to close to home , all they (Gov't and media) do is remind the people of 9-11 , show a few horrific images to reinforce the message and to make sure those that question develope a guilt for even asking.

Who's fault is it?? The ones that have been benefitting the most from the horrific event. (eg. the Cheney crowd - and in ways that we can only guess. Apart from the obvious "connections" that have been revealed.

When Bush said that you don't question or criticize a president during a time of war......... what do you supposed he meant by that when in reallity that is the time a leader should be not only questioned but held to account due to the many lives being destroyed in the name of said leader and his agenda.

You have to wonder with all the thousands of witnesses to the events of 9/11, while people continue to put out alternate causes. I guess there is no way to get them to see a shrink....................it's the rest of the world that's crazy. :lol::lol:

Has the US and its population properly HEALED as it should have by now. Or has it fallen into the rut of unresolved and protracted grief states.??

What value does sensationalizing the event every year have to the population in promoting true healing ??

Might it be healthier to ;acknowledge the event annually in more subtle , understated and with respect for all the victims without perpetuating the notion of "victimhood"

Just some thinking "out loud".

Has the US and its population properly HEALED as it should have by now. Or has it fallen into the rut of unresolved and protracted grief states.??

What value does sensationalizing the event every year have to the population in promoting true healing ??

Might it be healthier to ;acknowledge the event annually in more subtle , understated and with respect for all the victims without perpetuating the notion of "victimhood"

Just some thinking "out loud".

Suicide bombers flying planes at close to the sound barrier filled with jet fuel, into skyscrapers "but of small portion of what really happened"? Really? Bush was in Florida so he never did it. :lol:

Because these events affect everyone differently, people who lost loved ones are never going to get over it entirely, some of them are private who just want to grieve privately, while the rest of us who weren't physically affected with loss realize that our existance and all the ramification of its safety can't be taken for granted and while we shouldn't be paranoid, we've had a wake up call and realize there are people on the planet who are intent on doing us harm.

So 911 was a US Govt Plot.

And what would be the benefit to the U.S. Gov't blowing up their own buildings? They would be better off with them than without them. :lol:

Other than the randomness of close proximity? Quite a few buildings were hit with debris and have since been repaired or torn down.

Aren't the various terrorist groups hanging onto grudges that are hundreds of years old as justification for their crimes?

Don't the Americans deserve that same opportunity?
