You've been around the forums enough, and talked to enough moderate religious people, to know you're flat out lying right now. Gerry doesn't 'follow' the church, and is directly opposed to them on certain issues such as gay marriage. He also doesn't fit Soc's stupid assertion that he votes according to his religion, since from everything I've seen, Gerry's doesn't fit the bill as a Conservative.

LOL. Fun to troll a troll sometimes.

Sure, but gerry dosn't fit an identifiable christian profile either. Usually if you can't adhere and profess to an identifiable teaching you are by definition "not found" but still "a seeker" after knowledge. So I'm usually confused about gerrys christianity. Sure he's good he's kind he's charitable and he's a chick magnet but so are most of the atheists here.

what labels? both ideologies have their History, Socialists are not on record trying to kill abortion Doctors and kill women by stopping a birth that can kill being their bodies are in such weak condition, thus not allowing a safe delivery for the mother.
No they're on record for mass murder of dissidents, Christians, Jews, Pols, Chec's, Ukrainians, the mentally infirm, regular people and so on and so on and so on.

No? They just don't want religion of any kind anywhere. A lot of them kill just because people don't agree with their views. Ever heard of the mildly socialist niceguy named Josef Stalin? Or Mao Zedong? Pol Pot?

Women’s Liberation Through Socialist Revolution! - Smash Anti-Abortion Reaction!

‘‘The plurality opinion is filled with winks and nods and knowing glances to those who would do away with Roe explicitly, but turns a stone face to anyone in search of what the plurality conceives as the scope of a woman’s right under the due process clause to terminate a pregnancy free from the coercive and brooding influence of the State...
Even 'free from religion', some people will try to the death to control the lives of others. Not all people are anti-abortion due to religious reasons. And not all religious people are anti-abortion. But... you know that.

People put politicians in office, and that speaks to the fibber of Conservative bigotry, wake up. What more proof does one need to understand that Conservetivism is submerged in hypocritical bible thumping. American or Canadian Christianity show me where they are miles apart from each other. Many Christian youth hate Obama. Why?

And by the same token many Christian youth probably like him.

Could Harpers mother be persuaded to have one retroactively?
In any event most of us only voted for the cons because they promised to eliminate the oppressive and criminally expensive long gun registry. Once that is done the fundies can go. Oh and the libs have to find a leader first.

So are you admitting to being gay? Or is Jesus really female?

right there beside me the whole time. Just needed to open my eyes.

actually, I'm bi...... and that has nothing to do with my Faith.

I would think about that a little more. I've been led to believe that nothing of what we are can be separated from our faith. Open the third eye and gaze upon the eternal.;-)

*snerk* okay, so I wasn't the only one who thought that was a funny way to put a comment to someone who just said they're bi... lol.

Okay, back to what I originally wanted to say....

taxslave just alluded to homosexuality as a veiled insult, while attempting to bash the faith of someone who defends same sex marriage... I really wish stuff like this would sink into the heads of those who figure they can pigeon hole and decide who thinks what according to their religious or political choices.
