You're words say it all..

By agreeing to scratch you are saying what I replied too.. I was not condemning your words for my interpretation. Making it even worse is saying "That isn't enough. Death creates saints. Liberal fantasies are bigger than that. Justin is only human" but I did not want to linger on that !!

And again, you make a judgement call without knowing me, hence you are being judge and jury again " Maybe you're not so much different after all ".. So I guess you know me personally ?:?:

SirFrancis2004 ....Now tell me JUDGE AND JURY, can you be 100% sure Justin is like his Father or is that just FICTIONAL Opinion ?
Probably a lot better than you admit to yourself. AlAnon may be able to help you....

If you simply have to be right ... try to do it in the cage and stop hijacking this thread. Run along now, TROLL.

I have not hijacked or do not simply have to be "right". However the definition of TROLL applies more to you then me.. Perhaps you need a refresher..

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

Proof "Probably a lot better than you admit to yourself. AlAnon may be able to help you...." and what does that have to do with this topic ?

If my only crime is that I am right and you are wrong, then be a man and say so.. Don't trash people, it really is not proper..

Harpo is just a closet homophobe and evangelist.

Ya got that right!

JLM,

If Trudeau was so bad, how come he was the longest running PM ever? He was human, had faults, but he also did a lot of good. He put Canada on the map and garnered respect from other world leaders. Sure he did some stuff that ticked me off, but he also did what he thought was right Labeling him communist is just the sour grapes of a conservative, and conservatives are a dying breed.

The reason Turdo kept getting reelected is because he focused on giving in to all demands made by Ontario and Quebec where by some coincidence the bulk of the MPs come from at the expense of the rest of the country. As someone else noted he even gave the finger to B.C. Then he forced french down our throats, where it became mandatory to go on to university. All of which explains why the Liberals are in less favor than the Dippers in the West.

Really.. Justin is just like his father? You can qualify that FACT ?

I happen to be the farthest thing from my father who was an alcoholic. I do not drink and have ideas totally different from his views. This ranges from bringing up my kids to social values in life. I own my own house where as my father never did..

Now tell me JUDGE AND JURY, can you be 100% sure Justin is like his Father or is that just FICTIONAL Opinion ?
Good day to you S.F, who do youuuuu, thing Justin resembles better in political ambition his dad, or mom, or Harper? hahah

And how many $billions has this metric B.S. cost us? WE are still not even completely metric, we still buy 4'X 8' sheets of plywood, 3" nails and prices in grocery stores are quoted both by the kg. and by the lb. It's not necessary for EVERYONE in the country to know metric so we can sell a kilogram of sugar beets to Peru.

I would guess that since Ontario/Quebec have 68% of the population and combined double the population of ALL of western Canada, that makes sense. I think the entire population of Western Canada is pretty much on a par with Greater Toronto

Then he forced french down our throats, where it became mandatory to go on to university

Ok, you lost me. To be bilingual, you have to go to University???? Ummm 40% of Canada is bilingual and I don't think our university entrollment is that high???

It's not necessary for EVERYONE in the country to know metric so we can sell a kilogram of sugar beets to Peru.

uh... yes it is. 90% of the world is metric and virtually all measures dealing with that 90% are in metric. Why would we stay imperial?

Justin is a good 10-12 yrs away from any kind of high level political involvement. He will have to work his way up (like his father) with increasingly more responsible roles and the nmaybe, just maybe in 2020 he could take a run at the leadership.

Hopefully he doesn't intend to ride on his fathers coattails. Those are awfully big shoes to fill for anybody

Again I have to beg to differ, certainly we need a few people who know metric and know how to read metic scales and measuring devices but we it's not necessary for every person to know metric. "Why would we stay imperial?"- WE would stay imperial because all the existing tools books and tables are in imperial, we would stay imperial because it's just as (if not more accurate than metric), the only advantage to metric is everything is a multiple of ten. The unit of one "metre" was derived originally as 1/10 millionth of the distance from the equator to the north pole- well it's been found recently that the original measurement was out a bit so that blows that concept.

You reveal the traits exhibited by the children of an alcoholic family.

Your only crime is assuming you know what you're talking about. All you had to do was read the thread. Now, you lust look like another internet troll ... and the namecalling is the icing on the cake.

Huh?????

Did you read the part where I said 90% of the world is metric? All the existing measurements are in metric. As a university student (WAAAAY back in the mid 80's), I worked at (you guessed it) the Metric Commission as an assessor of claims for mechanics converting their "old" tools to "new" metric tools. The gov't at the time re-imbursed them 50% of the cost. Virtually every mechanic in Canada took advantage of it

ps. the North Pole measurement was not a "metric problem, but rather was in anaccurate longtitude issue that has since been corrected via GPS

Where do you get these ideas anyways???

If you had an American product (say a car) I could see where you might still find imperial tools handy, but I don't think you'll see alot of American cars around in a few yrs

"Where do you get these ideas anyways???"- I only agree with change when the change is for something better, not merely different.

....like being compatible with 90% of the world?

That's not a valid reason, you could cite that for anything like speaking Chinese or converting to Islam religion. Metric is just a "measuring stick", we can still use Imperial for ladling out rape seed to ship to Jerusalem.

Does Justin have what it takes to make his old man proud?

Well, the answer is in.....Nope, not even close.

You lnow, I hate PET. I think, after Willie King and R.B. Bennett, he is the third worst Prime Minister we ever had. But, to give the Devil his due, he hated Separatists......I'll let Jeffrey Simpson continue....(from today's Globe and Mail):

And it will be even more of a shock to discover that the Liberal-led coalition will hinge on the Bloc Quebecois support, a party dedicated to breaking up Canada eventually but, in the meantime, demanding greater power and more money for Quebec, while continuously complaining about contempory Canada. Somewhere, Pierre Trudeau must be rolling in his grave, especially if he could have seen Liberal MPS rising up in the Commons yesterday to applaud the Bloc.

And Jeffrey Simpson is a Liberal shill if ever there was one.

Well, maybe I'm being unfair......Justin has one last chance.......cross the floor. The only way to do honour to his father and his name.

I wonder if any other Liberals will?

We'll see if any of these morons really care about this nation.
