yeah well, it is down under, as they say, and perhaps a bit of a bizarro effect takes shape
I first arrived on a night with a near-full moon. I musta stared at it for half an hour, trying to figure out what was wrong with it (hey, us Natives are all in spiritual harmony with Mother Earth and Father sun and all that, but I'm pretty dumb, and I never heard of an Indun being in spiritual harmony with Cousin Moon).

Finally figured it out. It was upside down (or rather, I was upside down).

I like that.

Did you wonder about your shit going down the toilet too?

heh heh

I think we all woulda figured it out sooner or later.

I remember doing acid as a kid and we had a friend we called Mind Captain who had us all seeing a Canadian flag on the moon.

fun times.

back then, too, in the height of the cold war it was explained to me by friends whose families were eastern european that in Russia the communists were right wing and their strictly limited opponents were the left wing. huh

maybe right wing just means whoever the hell is in power.

I always said the "political spectrum" isn't a line, it's a horseshoe, with the two ends closer to each other than either is to the middle.

Have one, you need to chill.

And maybe re-read Jinny's post again.
not really necessary, but here it is
for your clearly missed nuance
Watched some White American university students (obviously leftards) join a group of pro-Palestinian demonstrators in chanting "No peace on stolen land".
Clueless. Abso-fucking-lutely clueless.
what makes them clueless is the FACT that they too are on stolen land.

I hope that helped.

Uh huh.

The irony wasn't lost on me like you assume it was.

Considering Jin's pro Israel stance though, excuse me for thinking he was calling them clueless for supporting Palestinians, and not that he was double-dipping on the 'stolen land' bit.

Well, being in Transport, being federally regulated, I guess I will now have access to products for menstruation for “free”….

Who pays for this? Just curious….the trucking companies? Their landlords?
