agreed
me too it's becoming beyond tiresome...what ever happened to "balance"...

on the other hand since it is a continuum there have to be those extremes and the further you go to either end the narrower the thought process has to be.....

I have no problem respecting the law or the uniform. It's some of the azzholes they pour into kevlar I have my doubts about

Exactly. The government is also bound by the law and must strictly adhere to it. Our Founding Fathers decided that the government in their day did not adhere to the law and this is what motivated them to take violent corrective action in order to overthrow it.

'Security' comes in many forms. What I was driving at related exactly to the next stock market 'adjustment'

I bet you're just sensitive enough to give a stock tip to a homeless person - or an anchor to a drowning one.

If you don't have it, you can't invest it, can you? A lot of people are just barely making ends meet - if at all. Survival comes before savings.

But money itself can get you everything.

What's the going rate on peace of mind?

There, there widdums.... The bad ole hydro bill can't hurt you no more.... Until next month that is lol

PS - buy Bre-X:... mortgage your house and put everything in it.

What's the going rate on peace of mind?

The cost of having 12 months of total living expenses in an account as back up to a strong income

Hydro bill's not the topic, azzhole - but the total disregard for Ontario's industrial base doesn't do much for respect for the buttwad (or his party) who deregulated it.

Do your trolling elsewhere

I can give you a whole lot of "don't give a f*c* for free.

To do better then just survives, you need to be extremely productive. It takes a long time to get that good at anything.

If you're just surviving, keep going you'll eventually get so good you'll be well off.

Vernon, B.C.

By Max Read / gawker.com In the wake of the announcement that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted for shooting and killing Mike Brown, protestors across the country took to the streets in mass acts of civil disobedience, and in some cases, property damage.
And so, yesterday, following a New York grand jury's failure to indict New York City police officer Daniel Pantaleo for choking 43-year-old Eric Garner to death in July, Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a statement. "[W]hile there will be people who disagree with today's grand jury decision," it read, "it is important that we respect the legal process and rule of law."
He did not explain why.

Why Should Anyone "Respect" the Law?

It's not the law that's the problem but just a small percentage of the A$$holes (cops, lawyers, judges, guards etc.) who are paid to uphold and enforce it!:)

It all works a lot better if you don't get disabled in a stupid on-the-job accident. That can happen to anyone - no matter how great you think you are.

What's it got to do with respect for the law? It isn't law that screws you over. It's flavour-of-the-day government policies.

And those to the left should see the Wizard of Oz for one.
I can't disagree with that either...I find too far left to be flakey in the extreme

I think the middle is the place to aim for...
